George at the bar is very nice and attentive. The food quality has gone down hill over the past couple years. We go now more for drinks rather than food and drinks. Please get the good food back.

Great hot and sour soup, Portions are generous even on lunch menu, the General Gao's chicken brought good heat, and they managed to cook the chicken without drying it out as is common. We'll definitely be back soon.

We were pleasantly surprised by our visit. We went years ago and vowed to never go back. Fast forward a few years....
The restaurant was so busy. The wait staff was running around. However, the egg rolls, soft shelled crab and sushi were delicious.
Our waitress was great even though the restaurant was packed.
We go back once a week now it's that good!

I love the Danvers location and visit often. I happened to be in the area to try out the Beverly location but found the food and atmosphere lacking in flavor compared.

Doesn’t listen to their instructions tab. If i don’t want something in my food, don’t make the decision for what im eating.

$60 for two orders of sushi. Let’s start with how bad the Sushi was, so dry and hard. Literally tasted days old. Took 20 minutes longer for delivery than quoted. Women on phone had attitude when called after the 45 minutes quoted delivery time. Even if the sushi was good and the order took long, it’s still overpriced, but to have terrible pricing, terrible quality, food, and terrible service…

Gourmet Garden I called yesterday 6/7/25 @ 7:07

This is an “ok” Americanized Asian fusion restaurant. There’s nothing special here. Typical takeout quality Chinese/Polynesian food (with some Japanese offerings) that you find everywhere around MA suburbs. Chicken fingers, fried rice, low quality sushi is basically what it is. The bar is ok if you want to watch a game, drink an average quality Mai Tai and nibble on some beef teriyaki

Food and service are excellent. A bit on the expensive side, but this is the best Chinese food in the area.

Just ordered for the first time since moving to Beverly. So pleasantly surprised! Tasted different, healthier and cleaner than most east coast Chinese restaurants. Naturally chemical free so i didn't even have to ask for no MSG and with Gluten free options!! So glad to have this within walking distance to our new home!!
