Grassy Roots is my favorite spot for a quick lunch! The Keto Caesar Salad and the Congo bar are my favorites, but I get the Hamilton Panini sometimes to switch it up. Something about their Caesar dressing is ADDICTIVE.

Was very disappointed in the lack of vegan options. For a place called Grassy Roots with advertising itself as healthy I was highly disappointed in the lack of options.

Tried the buffalo chicken salad. Tasted decent but little buffalo sauce and not enough chicken for a $15 salad.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while as I drive by a few times a week. Today was the day I was able to stop in and sadly I was disappointed. Firstly, the girl at the front seemed to be miserable. Just not friendly at all. I ordered a sandwich and the lettuce was absolutely not fresh. It was wilted and soggy. The green juice was okay. It was room temp which was off putting. As I was waiting I read some of the ingredients in the prepared food section. I was disappointed to see seed oils in most of the products. As an establishment that advertises as “healthy” serving food with seed oils is not something I expected to see. The atmosphere was cute, but the bathroom SMELLED SO BAD. It smelled like someone peed on the floor and they didn’t clean it up. I won’t be returning.

My favorite gluten free sandwich ever. The only thing that would make it 5 stars is if they delivered!! I got a new job in Salem and now it’s harder to get to Beverly.

The food was super clean and fresh and they had a lot of gluten free options. . Totally recommend!

Tasty, pricey, often very slow. PLEASE put prices on items in fridge. $25 for 8 meatballs. Yikes. Also, no good by date on packaged food.

Grassy Roots is easily one of my favorite places in the entire North Shore. The food is always so fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they put a lot of care into every dish. The menu has something for every mood—whether I want something light and healthy or a more hearty, satisfying meal, it’s always spot on. The staff is so genuinely friendly, and the space has such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!!

I’ve given this place a couple tries because it’s local but each time has been pretty disappointing. Very overpriced- food is often soggy and flavorless. Their “scrambled eggs” are actually cubes of egg that definitely aren’t freshly made to order. Coffee is watered down… there’s better options in Beverly honestly

We ordered grassy roots for our office lunch and everyone loved it. Fresh food and great flavors. Perfect spot for when the weather is warm, and their smoothies are great. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Grassy Roots for years. However, the past two times I placed an order for takeout I was treated like a number rather than a customer. I assumed the first negative experience was a fluke, but upon giving them a second chance, I ended up waiting over an hour for two sandwiches. They said the long wait was due to a large order ahead of mine, but if that were the case they should not have told me my order would be ready in 20 minutes on the phone. I spent my entire lunch break (and more!) sitting in their parking lot.
