Best seafood ever! I'm from Detroit and was dying for a New England lobster roll last night. I got there late, but the owner, Nicki, stayed open to service me. With the lobster bisque, it was the best ever.😋
In fact, it was sooooo good, I returned today and got 4 to go with a seafood salad. We had great conversation, she gave me a sampler of the chowder, then packed my meal in separates and on ice so that I can assemble them when I get home tonight.

For two years I’ve promised myself this meal! I’m easily distracted, lol, but today, I was in a mission! I will no longer be distracted as easily again. The fish chowder is chunky with tons of fish, delicious and my scollop roll was everything I was hoping for. Thank you Joes on a roll for a great meal with enough for a small supper. Staff was great and I love the bench outside and the huge lobster on top. .

I'm a big fan of Joe's On a Roll, both as a takeout spot and a fish market. All of the food has been great, the fried fish sandwich is an incredible value at $12. I've bought the cod and sea scallops from the market, and enjoyed both. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Great place, love the seafood market. I had a fried haddock and lobster roll. I would have loved for my fish to have been seasoned with a little salt before frying; the lobster roll needed just a bit more mayo. But overall it was fresh and that was important to us. Thank you! 🤍

Went for a lobster roll and clam chowder today. Ordered a fried plate too. The lobster I was served was rancid. It smelled like ammonia and tasted like chemicals. The woman at the register said that was butter both I and my partner were smelling. Butter does NOT smell like ammonia. I made the mistake of letting them remake it instead of getting my money back. The second one also smelled like chemicals and ammonia. At that point I took the loss because I was confused and experiencing second-hand embarrassment that they would serve food that way with a straight face. I suggest you date your products and check your fridge temps because that was a terrible experience for $60. The fried food tasted fresh and I was happy with it. The clam chowder was gelantinous and tasted terrible. Will be updating if my partner and I get sick. Truly do not understand because this place has such good reviews, but to lie to me and tell me the butter is what smells like ammonia is crazy. Then give me a SECOND one that smells the same is mind blowing.
