I went here last Friday night to see a band that I like. Luckily, I read a review before I went that it was loud, so I brought my earplugs, which I needed. The music was way too loud, and I don’t know if that was the establishments’ fault, the bands, or maybe a combination of the two. But I used to manage clubs and bars, when I did, I was in charge of the volume of the music because it was my bar, I paid for the band, and I had an atmosphere I was looking for. I had hoped that Old Planters Brewing Co. would be a cool bar where I could see good music, but the music was so loud that I really couldn’t talk to my friends, or new friends, so the volume turned the place into a concert hall instead of a cool bar with good music. I won’t be going back anytime soon.

I was here for a private event. The staff were very kind and efficient. It's decore is kinda stale. They need an oomph! I only come here when they host an event I am interested in.

This is the best brewery in Beverly! They have a wide variety of great beers on tap so there’s always something for everyone. The staff and owners are all super friendly and welcoming. They also host a wide variety of events (live music, trivia, food trucks, run club, etc.) that are always a good time. We love OP!

We celebrated my sons birthday there a few years back and everyone had a great time — kids and especially parents. The staff was really accommodating and helpful.

Old Planters is one of my favorite spots on the North Shore. There is such a wonderful sense of community here. Fantastic beer, vibes, and staff. Great outdoor seats in warm weather and regular live music. A must visit.
