We traveled from NJ to Salem for the first time. We passed through Beverly before arriving in Salem. Wow so beautiful there. On our way back home, we went to Sala Ristobar. We were starving, so we began ordering all the dishes. Poke bowl - amazing. Korean Tacos - bomb. Rice - top notch. Sweet potato dumplings - amazing (first time having them). They had Mexican coke. The atmosphere was classy. Wait staff was happy and helpful. Service top notch. And then we met Alex (Chef/owner). Great soul, great cook, great host. If you are heading to Salem, or want fantastic food, stop in at Sala and say hi to Alex and the staff. You can’t go wrong.
