A group of 9 of us celebrated my best friends birthday Friday evening. I’ve dined here before but everything and everyone was on their A-game. I’d like to shoutout our server, Thomas, who was fantastic. He had a really positive attitude and showed excitement to serve our table from beginning to end. They let us have a small cake and decorations on our table and an additional cake to eat. Our appetizers, food and drinks were served perfectly. Reasonable time, hot, and fresh. For martinis we highly recommend the key lime pie martini, blueberry martini & espresso martini. Really great buffalo tenders, hummus and bread. We got a variety of salad, sandwiches and pastas for entrees and everyone was happy.

Soma is a beautiful restaurant with a swanky vibe. The ambiance is exceptional and the homemade hummus with fresh bread is to die for-I could have just eaten that! The drinks and service were great. My pasta dish was a little lackluster and the pasta fell apart, which is usually an indication that it isn't fresh, but the other components of the dish were satisfactory. My counterpart had the brick chicken and enjoyed it very much. The flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream and salted caramel drizzle was the chef's kiss to end the night. Definitely recommend!

Great bread and hummus, great fish tacos, great pork loin, excellent service. Love the acoustic tiles on the ceiling. First time here, would come again.

Very mediocre experience. Apps and drinks were fine but that’s about all I could recommend anyone go for. Spent over $1XX for two people and food was very mediocre. Didn’t end up getting refills or the right food and when it was brought to the attention of staff I was told I was wrong. The food we did receive was barely edible while the pizza my partner got was fine.

Still fantastic food and drinks. What I like best is the consistency. It's always good. I've yet to have a bad experience.

I was really disappointed in this place. The chicken pasta was lacking in flavor besides being overly salty. I couldn’t even really eat it. Had some of my mom’s fish tacos which were also bland. Skip this place.
Great martinis

Do not order House Margarita, it trastes like water with sugar and Bartender not even bother to check if something wrong in regards
We walked in, noticed there were seats open at the bar. When attempted to sit at the bar, we were told by the hostess it was reserved. Never heard of any place that takes reservations for the bar. To make sure I just reviewed their website, no where does it take reservations for the actual bar. My money is as green as the next person. Would not recommend. Would never spend a dime here.

I really like the dark mood, the server was very friendly, and the food was truly delicious. I had the swordfish over risotto with asparagus and tomatoes, and it was so tasty especially with the lemon on top. The hummus had lots of garlic in it, which was so good and so fresh and the bread was extremely fresh as well. I will definitely be coming back here.

You can't go wrong with a date night at Soma. We even bring our daughter sometimes and they are so friendly with her. Amazing ambience, great vibes, excellent food (love the pizzas) and really good beer and cocktails. Don't let the dark windows fool you, they are open!

The server wasn't on his A game and looks like he needs a lil more practice and guidance on dealing with large volumes of crowds on busy nights.

This is place is a no from me, one of the worst dining experiences I have had in the Beverly area. Does not rise to the level of the variety of quality in the area.
