Delicious burger!
Perfectly chill, nerdy and accommodating. Progressive, LGBTQ friendly, dog friendly. Great variety of drinks, beer and cocktails. Insane amount of board games to play in house or to rent for home use. Lovely medieval decor And wall art. Wheelchair access. Patio seating available. Separate bar downstairs. And a secret hidden door to find!
Great fish and chips. The brussel sprouts appetizer portion was HUGE. It was a touch underdone but still good. They have an amazing board game selection. This is the kind of place to spend 4 hours trying out new games.
Amazing
Wasnt our type of food but gave it a try, what really got me upset was, the girl never brought us water refills, had to ask a couple times for conndiments, she never brought napkins and when i had a question about the food, she said she would ask but never came back. The games were ok but really 6 bucks a person when you already spent almost 100 bucks on food with bad service. Would i return, probably not.
Pizza was fantastic. Board game selection was very extensive and the staff offered many recommendations based on what we weee currently playing. 100% will be coming back and becoming regulars.
Our server was great so I didn’t want to leave a negative review because I liked them and the vibes.. the drinks were good, fried cauliflower was very oily but otherwise good. However, the salad was so wimpy. $17 for a salad should have been stacked, if not with the more expensive parts like chicken and avocado but at least with lettuce, but it was just barely two wimpy handfuls of tired mixed greens with a mid amount of toppings. Had it been like $13 I wouldn’t have cared. The fish tacos were both like an actual wad of burnt brown battered fish that sat awkwardly in the shell and no visibly sauce or fixings on top, maybe it was on the bottom but that wasn’t what I personally ate. So unfortunately it was realllllyyyy over priced for the food quality and quantity. A shame because we were from out of town and could have gone somewhere else in the area to try somewhere different than our usual.
The service was VERY slow and we were not checked up on until the time came for the check. We went on a very quiet Sunday night with only two other families dining in. The server asked us if we have been before and we told him it was our first time. We were not informed that it cost money to play the games there. We were not asked how anything was or given refills on our water or “bottomless” popcorn. I also informed the server I was vegan since the menu says even if an item is listed vegan that the sauces include may not be, to which he didn’t respond or give feedback. We also never received our dessert order but at that point service was taking so long we didn’t want to ask again and wait more. To top it off we saw two mice… food was good but would not dine in again.

The staff are amazingly friendly and the Poke Nachos are worth a trip on their own. Best I’ve had!

Fun board game restaurant with great selection. My favorite part is that the floor of the restaurant is separate from the bar and also has smaller rooms, so it doesn't get too loud even though lots of people are playing games.

This place was incredible. A board game restaurant that was so amazing. The food was delicious, the service was quick and personable and if you want, you can play games while visiting here. My husband and I found it on a whim headed toward Salem on our vacation and I’m so glad we did! Such an amazing experience!

This place has the sweetest, most welcoming atmosphere. It’s mostly a board-gaming crew (nowhere better to play!) but it’s a wonderful meal and atmosphere for everyone.
