Place is overrated and the pastries are harder than a turtles shell. Rude staff, and they never seem to pick up the phone. I wonder how these people are still in business, with limited cognitive motor skills and limited communication skills. Place flat out sucks.

This place is really solid. They have a little of everything from slush (year round), arancioni, bread, various pies and all the baked goods you'd expect from an Italian bakery. They have some of the best biscotti I've had (not counting my grandmother of course.) Their cannoli and sfogliatelle (lobster tails) are also excellent. The best kept secret here might be their pizza. It's your standard bakery "sheet" pizza that is light and airy in the middle but with a nice crust on the bottom. They sell it by the slice or you can call ahead to order a whole sheet (or six).

Tried this for the first time. I bought a few of what looked good in the case. When I tried the brownie, it tasted stale. I threw that out. I then went to the cupcake and it tasted terrible. The frosting tasted like stale chemicals. Threw it out. At least I know where not to go in the area. The clerk was nice.

I got to Roma’s at exactly 2:55 on a Sunday. They close at 3. The female employee locked the door right in my face and another customer that had just left said she didn’t even want him in there. I will never be back.

Went here Sunday to buy a small birthday cake. The girl working there was confused about the product and had to call someone three different times for help. She thought it was a chocolate cake and it wound up being a gold cake. On top of that, the cake terrible!

Great selection of cookies, pastry, pies. They feature Italian items. They also make pizza, calzone, sandwiches. They also offer catering.
I go out of my way sometimes and get off RT 3 just to get their pizza. It's absolutely amazing. Huge slices and they are fresh every day unlike other bakeries that will pre make and heat each day. Their staff are usually friendly teenage kids. I have had some of their sweets and did like them.

I usually only get cannolis from the north end. But was in a jam and was in Billerica. I got the chocolate cannolis with traditional ricotta and chocolate chips. They were to die for. I would go back here in a heartbeat.
