I can't say enough about Betty's. It's our Cheers, minus the liquor mind you! Breakfast is always awesome, I suggest the corned beef hash, and Italian toast (huge!), made fresh on the premises! The Breakfast sandwich bagels are huge and prepared to perfection.... Coffee, either a straight up cup of Joe, or flavored, also awesome. The lunch menu is pretty straight forward, burgers, always a home made soup and daily specials. The meatloaf and American Chop Suey are...
The quintessential old school diner with that home away from home vibe. The food is always excellent and the portions are generous as well. I willingly travel 30 minutes to go here every week, sometimes more because it's just that awesome.
The waitress we had was very polite. She answered the question I had about what tea they had and ensured I didn't mean a specific brand. She was attentive and checked up on us shortly after we got our food to make sure everything was good. The speed of service there was incredible, the food tasted excellent, and it was an inexpensive place for my fiancée and me to get breakfast. We will definitely be back!
