The experience was, we were unable to eat at Baba. The reservation system is still up on OpenTable for that location. However, it's been permanently closed since April and the last time we were there was in March. And now I'm getting an email asking how wass the restaurant and food. I wouldn't know since I didn't get to go. And at that point I had no other reservation to go out anywhere for dinner. I always use OpenTable or Resy, but one would think they would check with the restaurants periodically to see if they're still open. Or it's on the restaurant because even though he has two other locations, he doesn't care that OpenTable still has a reservation system for Bolton when they're not open However, it's been permanently close since April and the last time we were there was in March. the restaurant and food. Overall bad experience not that anyone cares. Even though you have a reservation, you may want to always call ahead now to make sure the restaurant is open .
This restaurant was completely shut down and not opened. We drive all the way there for nothing. When I tried to cancel through this app to make another reservation somewhere else, it wouldn't allow me to . It said I had to call the restaurant to cancel. Makes zero sense. It was shut down so I couldn't call.
The chicken tori tori is fantastic

Excellent atmosphere, first-class service and exquisite food. I recommend this place to sushi lovers, they also have other dishes that are good.

Service was slow. Menu was limited. Our waitress eavesdropped dropped into our conversation and kept interjecting her thoughts into our private conversation. Won't go back.
First time to Baba Sushi. Overall very good experience. Strange to be eating elegant sushi in what feels like a gastro-pub, but whatever. Our server was awesome - bubbly and very helpful. Sushi was excellent and the sake selection was impressive and tasty. The Asian Entrees, or at least the Noodles, were uninspired. Very expensive. One note - the Toro Sashimi, which claimed to be Otoro, and it likely was, was tough and did not have the "melt-in-your-mouth" consistency that I usually expect with Toro. At $23.25 for six meager slices, this was an expensive disappointment. Will we go back - not likely given the drive and the lack of value.
You can get fries, a burger, and sushi! What else do you want???

We've come here several times for lunch and always had a great experience. Polite and quick service and delicious sushi. One of my favorite places to go out!

First visit here. Place was quiet and more than half the regular menu was not available. Sushi was good but cannot be compared to the Worcester location at all. Husband ordered crème brûlée for desert and that was a disaster...possibly the worst we have ever come across! Certainly won't recommend having that LOL. Our server was very nice lady and more than made up for the average food experience
Excellent Sushi ans Sashimi in this part of the state. Nice bar, serving solid cocktails. Pretty original rolls. Atmosphere is nice on inside. Service has been good, and has gotten quicker the last few times I've been there. They serve non Japanese food, which is nice if you have folks in your party that want pasta or a burger.

Sushi was great, however not everyone in our group likes sushi. We were told the rest of the menu was being phased out. If all they are going to serve is sushi then they should say that on their website. The place was also very loud, dispite the fact that there was only a dozen or so people in there. Could hardly hold a conversation.
We first became aware of this establishment when we were out for a drive. I googled it when we got home.Italian cuisine *and* Baba sushi? Intriguing!!!!We’ve eaten at Baba/Sturbridge a number of times and always had spectacular meals. We finally made reservations and headed out. We arrived to a freezing cold box. We both had to wear jackets and hoodies for the entirety of our meals.Onto the food…We ordered from both sides of the menu.•Caesar Salad•Mozzarella Sticks•Fish and Chips•Veggie Pizza•A variety of sushi. The Legacy Kitchen side? Aptly named. Mostly frozen and spectacularly unpalatable. The Mozzarella sticks and Fish and Chips (served with a bowl of Mayonnaise) were both sitting on a bed of e. coli ready lettuce. The fries were clearly from a bag and were completely unseasoned. How hard is it to put salt on fries? You can’t teach people to care. The sushi was good. Almost on par with Crazy Stone or Fuga Ku.Service was very good.

This place is bizarre. You can get pizza and sushi here. You can get Mac and cheese.. with your sushi. You can get sushi with... Mozzarella sticks. You get the drift. It's so wrong... but it feels so right. Definitely worth a visit!
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sushi as well as a few apps and pizza.

Food is excellent, just like his other two sushi locations in Worcester and Sturbridge. The Haru Roll is my new Go To favorite ? Expensive, but worth it. I think maybe he might want to start doing some kind of special promotions or something. It was pretty dead for a Saturday night. Maybe try offering some rolls for a reduced cost, or maybe beer wine, and cocktail specials. Location borders Clinton and Bolton, so that might account for the lack of business, or possibly because it's a small restaurant that is more hidden away? Not sure. Just think it should be busier for a fairly new restaurant, with great food. Hope it turns around for them.
