Careful. They take away your money. Even though you add the tip .. they stole extra $6 to the total. Been there 2 days ago and got shocked looking at the credit payment. Supposed to be $50 including the tip But was charged $56. Hello people, if you want more money, please ask. Don’t steal. 21st amendment is a joke. Can I complaint to someone for stealing ?? Can restaurants steal money from the customer ? It’s not about $6. It’s about stealing the moneyI called them to report. And when I am explaining it; they cut the call thrice. Plain robbery! If you want to go there, use cash. No cards!

Little underground type bar scene. Nice atmosphere with good drinks. A low key place to grab a beverage .

Fun casual hole in the wall bar with your typical pub fare. We had a very friendly waitress who was doing a fab job running the whole floor.

This place is pretty small and usually very packed but I was able to find a spot at the bar on a Friday night. They had a good selection of draft beers and the sliders with onion rings were delicious! I definitely want to return to try some of the other dishes!

Low lit spot with decent food and drink selection. For dinner we tried the fish and chips and a wrap, both good. Due to delay we received bowl of clam chowder, and regrettably we should have ordered it from the beginning! Hearty and full of flavor.

Okay, I low-key loved this place. It's not fancy. It's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall. But it has history and tasty food and brews! The cider here was phenomenal. Seriously, even if you don't like cider, you should try it. Husband had a few beers here too and really enjoyed them. The people seemed very friendly too. But - the star was the short rib grilled cheese. Just take a lactaid and do it. It's well worth the calories. BONUS: Be sure to see the fireplace that JFK liked to sit by when he worked on his speeches. Super close to the capitol building and Boston Common.

The 21st is a staple in terms of a Beacon Hill sense of community. I have been coming here for the past 8 years and I have been treated like family. I cannot say enough about the service, the comfortability aspect and just that real "I'm at home feeling". 10/10 recommended and needless to say the food is unbelievable!!

Love this place! Right across from the State House, it’s a great location to meet with activists after lobbying the do-nothing senators & reps in our state government. ✊??
