Definitely a must do attraction while in the area. We had a great time enjoying all the different types of teas. While you rest your legs from all the walking around the city and taking a refreshing tea break. You're also able to view the reenactment of the tossing of the tea into the harbor.

Love coming here! Have been twice, enjoy it every time. Be careful of the Smokey teas, tastes like a house fire. Blueberry scones are delicious, staff is so friendly. The gift shop is awesome, it has so much to look at. The tea sets and pots are beautiful. You can sit and drink your tea outside or inside, both looking over the river. Will be back!

A different tea room in the sense it isn't high tea or a pre set menu. More a food court imo, but I liked the selection and how spaced out everything was. Relaxing with the view outside too You can buy sandwiches, pastries, beverages, including trying all the original teas for $3-4. And everything was good! I especially loved the cookies and local sodas, which taste like nothing I've had before. The workers were friendly as well. Seats were a little wobbly and the tables could be wiped down more, but it isn't a restaurant. And they refilled the tea often. Def worth it for a pit stop if you're closeby. And I think you can go to the tea room any time, not even if you get a ticket to the museum, which is nice since it's connected with a walkway so you can be above the water

Everyone had coats on inside and some had hats on on New years day 2024. I asked multiple staff members to turn on heat. I was told we don't have access to thermostat. To bad because its such a beautiful place and atmosphere and the tea and food was great, but we couldn't enjoy it because the room was too drafty and cold.

Amazing team and very helpful! I’ve just had my breakfast with my husband and we lost our bag where we have all our money and passports..the team was so supportive and friendly that we could find our bag with all its content.Nevertheless, the atmosphere is amazing here and the coffee is yummy ( first time I tasted such delicious cappuccino) ..thanks a lot Abigail team and happy new year!

So much fun to try the 5 teas that were poured into the harbor! Although the smell of one tea was so bad I didn't dare try it. There are places on either side where you can pour out the tea if you don't care for it. The clam chowder and scones are also really tasty. Perfect stop for a treat after the museum tour!

The tea was so good, and it was very cool to be trying the famous tea party teas. Everyone was really friendly, and the environment was nice too! The tea tasting is so affordable, and it was really fun to try these unique flavors. Who'd have thought smoked tea would be so yummy! And the chive and cheese scones also hit the spot!!Vegetarian options: The baked goods are vegetarian but there was no vegetarian sandwich option while we were there (not sure if there usually is). They did have non-dairy milk options for their drinks though, for any vegans out there!

Absolute five stars all the way! What a fun thing to do after attending one of the tea party tours! I believe you don't even need to do a tour to come upstairs and have some snacks and tea. But, since I did do the tour on a recommendation from a local friend, and I love tea, I wasn't skipping the chance to do a tasting of the 5 colonial tea types thrown into the Boston harbor on 16 December, 1773. When you come upstairs it smells wonderful - they're making fresh cookies and scones for sale and you can certainly smell them! It's very cheap to do a tasting at around $5 for unlimited tea and $8.95 to include a cute little souvenir mug. They have a nice bathroom and the seating area is large and neat with walls of windows overlooking the bay and free wifi. I sat here for about an hour charging my phone, drinking warm tea, warming up, and going through photos from the day's adventures. Loved it! The teas are all wonderful and delicious with some green teas, black teas and others. I'm sure everyone can find one they love and creamer and sugar is available as well.

$4 for unlimited historic tea recreations! They have almond milk as a nondairy option.

Nice tea house where you can taste the 5 sorts of tea that were thrown overboard during the Boston Tea Party. Prices are reasonable, you can get real cups and you can have scones or other pastries.

You're led to this eatery after the Boston Tea Party Museum tour ends, which is a great marketing move, but you can also come here without being a part of the museum. It has views of the waterway if you just want to have tea and snacks. It's also got a gimmick where you buy a cup and try all the original tea blends that were thrown overboard. It's a fun gimmick to end the tour and a nice place to sit and relax after the museum before you head to your next site visit. The souchong black tea was my favorite.
