I have lived in the financial district for two years now and this place gives you the best tasting most affordable food in the area. Mom and pop place with real ingredients made exactly how you want it.
Al Capones might just be the best place to get breakfast, a sub, or pizza in Boston. All bread is made in house and their food is absolutely mindblowingly amazing, plus if you order a large sub it is so large they have to cut it and wrap the two halves individually....enough said.
Al Capone's is my go-to lunch spot for Italian! They have the best Chicken Parm sub in downtown Boston, and I've nearly tried them all. The owner is extremely friendly and always remembers the regulars. The best part of all is you can add chips, a drink and a cookie for nearly a dollar more - truly can't beat this downtown!
