Great "homey" feel to this restaurant. Shoutout to Jessica- very sweet and nice service.
I love that you can see into the kitchen to watch the chefs in action. Portions are waaaaaay too big, but leftovers are never a bad option.
Vodka sauce and Al Dente Gnocchi was fabulous. Pesto linguine needed a hit of salt and/or parm, but fresh bread, calamari and linguine w/ clams were all stellar
Definitely one of the better north end restaurants where you are in a sea of tourist traps. Way more local off the beaten path, and prices are reasonable.

Came for an early dinner, and we had the place for ourselves.
Lobster ravioli.. eggplant rollatini.. gnooce were the best. Definitely staring the place to come back
I am not one to indulge in the trivialities of leaving negative reviews, but the egregious offenses perpetrated by this establishment compel me to voice my disdain. The long-lasting spiritual toll this place has inflicted upon me, the irreparable dampening of my friends’ joie de vivre, and my newfound contemplation of abandoning the United States altogether are a testament to the gravity of this culinary debacle.
Pesto with cream? Carbonara desecrated with pancetta? Arrabbiata adulterated with pepperoncini? These are not mere missteps but outright affronts to the sacred canon of Italian cuisine. Italian food is an art form predicated on the purity of its essence—a masterful interplay of the same five ingredients, elevated through freshness and restraint.
What I encountered here was not cuisine but a travesty, an insult to the very concept of food itself. The audacity to present these abominations under the guise of “Italian” is as offensive as it is lamentable. This place has proven itself unworthy of the ingredients it so thoughtlessly squanders. A true affront to gastronomy.
it was really not good and not authentic. too much cream and cheese in everything, clearly not using high quality ingredients. Shocked and amazed at the other sheeple who have left positive reviews. honestly if you are thinking of coming here, just go buy a can of chef boyardee and literally burn 40$ in the street, it will be a comparable experience.

A friend recommended it and we enjoyed it. Not as well known or as touristy as other restaurants in the North End but very good food and great service

Amazing!
My husband and I had a wonderful time here and will definitely be going back for the homemade pasta! But 1 minor complaint. We both got large servings of food and left completely full even though we skipped appetizer (we meant to order soup but got distracted talking). The food was really delicious and everyone around us seemed to be enjoying their meal a lot. Our server, Annette was the most pleasant and friendly person! We love her! The dining area isn't the biggest so try to get a table away from the door (otherwise it gets a chilly draft). The only minor small complaint I have is, the owner of restaurant is the doorman/host and he made a small comment/joke when we walked in. He said, "Don't stay all night, we have a lot of people to serve." Or don't stay all night, it's very busy. Something like that. My husband laughed it off and told me to forget about it. But to be honest, I didn't find it funny. I thought it was a little rude, but he WAS being sarcastic. I asked an employee about him and apparently it's true: he likes people to get out fast so he can seat more tables. I get it! It's a business! You don't want people staying for 6 hours when other people are waiting. But he shouldn't have made that comment. It was my first time going there and first impressions mean a lot! But I love the food and the servers, so I'll go back, but I'm going to ignore Mr. Grumpy-pants.
"Don't stay all night!"

Food was just okay, but our server (dark hair in her 50s) was incredibly rude. Seemed angry when we asked for iced tea, didn't check on us, and threw the check at us. Saw her offering limoncello to other tables but not us. She must be related to someone important there. I can't see any manager putting up with such attitude.

I understand that Saturday nights are busy, and a long wait is expected (2.5h to be more particular), so we decided to get takeout. When we were placing the order they asked what type of pasta we wanted. But after choosing any of them we were informed they didn’t have the one we requested. Okay, fine. Upon picking up they told us they didn’t have cutlery for the takeout order. How nice of you to force us trying to find forks somewhere else. And lastly – I didn’t like the food. The whole experience is kinda frustrating.
Food was unbelievable. Portions were gracious. Staff was friendly. And free bread was provided. 10/10 experience.
