Absolutely terrible to get a reservation with. Tried several times. Must leave a voice mail. Appears to be one of these entitled, woke Boston restaurants…
Should not be in business.

Zach was such a great bartender and has awesome mixology skills. He made both mocktails and cocktails that were delicious. The atmosphere and decor is awesome. A great dinner or late spot. Would totally recommend!

Let me just tell you:
LUZERNE:
This is a lemon cheesecake martini.
Created by zach.
Let me just tell you:
This martini will give you life altering hope
This place encapsulates change, hope, balance, and good vibes.
Zach created the best cocktails we have ever had, from two bartenders and long time servers.
It takes a lot to impress us but we will come back to Boston just for this insane martini.
Thank you Zach for your life altering beverage.

It is a fun prison themed bar speakeasy with outside space. The bar is hidden a little so makes it even more exclusive. The food was decent. The sliders were good but the steak and chicken on a stick was dry. The hot dogs had ketchup and mustard on them?! Come on.. it should only be mustard. We had standard bar fare so wasn’t blown away. I would come back for a drink.

My experience at the Alibi was 1000/10. Zach was THE BEST bartender with impeccable service. I've never seen such captivating bar flare and he made me the best drink of my life. I can't wait to come back with my girls.

Cool bar in an old jail and shares space with the hotel.

I have been to Alibi before and had much better service when on a date with my now fiancé.

However, my recent trip on 7/4 was awful and I do not intend to go back. My friends and I booked a reservation the same day for 5 outside. Our server never came to check on us.

We were seated for 46 minutes, looking around and seeing that other guests were also searching for their drinks .

This continued throughout our visit. The server never came to check on us or communicated that the kitchen was closing as we waited as long as we did to order.

The server spilled multiple drinks all over me and my friends when she finally arrived with drinks that took over an hour to get. I asked for napkins she rolled her eyes and did not bring any.

We finally closed out after she proceeded to not remember the drinks we ordered. We had given two cards to split the check, only for her to charge the same card twice. We thought this visit couldn’t get any worse, only to find out it could.

We went over to the patio bartender and ordered drinks that also took about 25 minutes to be served. Upon arrival, there was a hair in one of the drinks.

We pointed this out to the bartender, who responded with a facial expression that spoke volumes. They served another drink with no garnishes and it was not nearly as good as the ones prior.

My friends and I were really made to feel uncomfortable and as if we didn’t belong. This is unfortunate and embarrassing because I had raved about Alibi and my visits when dating my fiancé, only to be met with such poor, stand-off treatment by the staff.

I will never be back to Alibi to be treated this way. In addition to everything I shared, my friends and I were also told we had to move from our comfortable seating to another table during our stay. We felt very targeted.

Such a lovely music experience on a Monday night. With singer songwriter, I think his name was John.

I don't recommend the place. I got charged over $30 for stuff I didn't ordered. It's been more than a month now and they haven't refunded anything.

Good food and atmosphere. We dined in the outdoor patio and had a good time. Our pizza and alcohol were very tasty, service was okay but some of the seats cushions were dirty.

This was the WORST experience! Booked a 8pm reservation for my sisters birthday and it changed to 8:30.. fine. Showed up for 8:30 and was told a table wouldn’t be ready until 9 and they suggested we go next door to scampi to eat because the kitchen closes at 9 and when we get back they will have a table ready for us. We went across the way just so we can come back for a table at alibi (we should’ve just went somewhere else with all the time wasted) got back to alibi and Ofcourse… no table ready for us. Had to speak up, they placed us in the patio lounge area for the mean time at a table that sat four when there was 7 of us! Waiting, waiting… finally a little after 10pm yes… 10pm.. hour and half after our reservation, a table was “ready” for us. The poor people from the 30th birthday party that just wrapped up came over to gather their jackets still at the table that they seated us at. It was uncomfortable and we were looked at like we stole their table. Waitress came over and took our drink order for our “comped drinks” for the hassle- gee thanks. She was never seen again!!! A Saturday night out for all of us was rare as some of us have kids and jobs we had to request off and not every year your birthday falls on a Saturday! Thank you for ruining the birthday!!!! Alibi is the worst!
