Delicious sandwiches, fresh condiments, friendly staff. However, the sandwiches need more meat for the amount charged, I felt OVERCHARGED and, the schiacciata bread lacks crispness.
La Dante is my favorite so far.
I've seen the reviews and pictures from their NYC locations, amd I must admit that: THEY'RE DOING US WRONG in Boston. They're taking FULL ADVANTAGE of us not being as loud mouthed and outspoken as the typical New Yorkers. Surprisingly, the current staff IS from one of their New York locations (according to him, he spoke Italian as well). The issue must be with management.
You've got a great product, do better by us. Bostonians will give you chance, if you do them wrong, they'll just keep on going to the North End or elsewhere. We're very traditional and loyal. Don't believe me? Wait until the students go back home during summer. It's mostly Instagram hype for now, just as school got started.

I ordered that last summer which had prosciutto mozzarella basil. There was no basil in my sandwich. I asked for extra mozzarella which I got. It was so dry. The prosciutto was okay. The tomatoes were junk to the world. I have to say I waited in an hour. I drove about 40 minutes away and I would not recommend. It was so dirty and so unsanitary. They were using generic glass cleaner in a spray and you know when you use fake glass spray it leaves a smudge and the mozzarella you could tell was not fresh. I always thought everything was imported from Italy. No that's a lie. The mozzarella you could tell was restaurant Depot bought. The tomatoes were probably also bought at the restaurant Depot. The only one thing that was good was the drink the blood orange Sicilian. I would not recommend going at the time I went cuz you see all the dirtiness. The guy was bringing out the garbage and walking all over with the garbage and also the one thing that I did not like out of everything. I just now said they gave people their wrong sandwiches. Three people that were in front of me all got the wrong sandwich. There's only three people working at the sandwich counter, two guys and a girl. The woman spoke Italian. The two guys spoke English and they got the wrong sandwich just do better. I know you guys just open up. Just have a lot of chains in America. Just do better if you want to spend 30 something dollars on food. Don't waste your time or your money cuz right now I'm sick to my stomach from that food. I just ate it about 20 minutes ago and I want to throw up all my guts

I wanted to see what the hype is for, the truth for me is that a vegetarian sandwich is not worth it. You might get your meat from Italy if that’s why you go , but I won’t do it. The ingredients are fresh and it’s a decent size for $14.

La summer, La Italiana & La Venice was worth the wait. All these years watching you guys on(YouTube from Florence Italy) me and wife love the freshness of the meats and bead and most of all the welcoming atmosphere of the staff was amazing. Please open one in Chicago asap!!! I guarantee it will be a great success.

Decided to stop for lunch knowing we had to wait in line. Its about 20minute wait. Food was delish. We ordered couple of sandwiches... La Italiana was the best! The staff is doing the best they can to get people thru the door. ... but it's ridiculous that their online ordering is not live OR that they didn’t think to include self ordering kiosks before opening!? Dine with time on your side.

Great Italian sandwiches. I had the “La Summer”. Absolutely Delicious and plenty of it! Thinly sliced, tender Prosciutto blended masterfully with fresh focaccia bread, mozzarella, tomato, basil & seasoning. Be prepared to wait and open your wallet a little wider but it’s worth it. If you go to Eataly down the street you will pay $3 less for something that looks like an All'Antico Vinaio sandwich but it will have ¼ of the ingredients and the Prosciutto will be tough to chew!
