Great subs. They pump out a toasted Italian in 5 minutes. Reasonable price.

This is a 5 for a lunch option in downtown Boston. Best Italian sub ever? No. But for the price and convenience, it’s the best in downtown. The large size sandwich is HUGE. Fast. A little soup-naziish in that you better know what you want when you get to the front of the line. The bread makes a sandwich and theirs is great. Take out only

Very good subs! I purchased a Steak 🥩 and cheese 🧀 . Premium bread and premium ingredients. Weekdays they will get in and out FAST but weekends they get understaffed and overwhelmed!

Best deal around. You'd be very hard pressed to find such a good sandwich and meal combo at the price at Al's, anywhere else.
Literally the biggest Steak bomb that I ever had. Absolutely delicious 😋.

Small sub shop. AMAZING value. We got a large ham sub with 2 drinks for under $20. Fed my family of 4 lunch. Would be a regular here if we lived close. The bread is soft and delicious. Service was fast!

First and last time. Seemed like a good quick place. Ordered ahead of time with light pesto and didn’t think it was a big deal. Must of offended someone because they gave me extra. When I got back to the office it was pouring out of the foil and paper. So much I couldn’t take it off or even pick it up. A mess everywhere. Making it impossible to eat. Went straight in the trash. Made a mess on my desk and no lunch for me.

We had lunch at Al's. It was conveniently located near the Freedom Trail. The portions were generous and the price was reasonable. You could get a sandwich, chips and a can of soda for about $14. There is some counter space to eat but no bathroom. You order cold and warm subs from different windows. The sandwiches were pretty huge.
