I don't know about the Allston location but I went to the Somerville one thinking it was the old Taqueria that used to be here that had generous portions and I was shocked. I ended up paying $13 for the smallest portion I have ever seen at a Taqueria. There were 3 pieces of meat in my bowl - 3 tiny pieces. It was all rice and it was awful - there was not a soul in here on a busy Saturday afternoon - that should have been a clue - Assembly Row was packed and all the other restaurants were too but this one was empty -now I know why. The food itself was horrible so maybe the tiny portion was a godsend -please if you are going to Assembly Row, realize this is not the old delicious generous portions Taqueria that used to be there. This one had tiny portions, awful food but they haven't changed anything except the name so it's a total bait and switch. Buyer Beware.

I was looking for something quick to eat right in the city, and this particular spot exceeded my expectations. Super kind and honest staff, delicious food, and cozy spot right in the city. No complaints at all; highly recommend!

New place. We got a burrito and a torta. The beef tongue was delicious and the proteins do taste like authentic Mexican food. Great find

Almost caused allergic reaction due to cross contamination. The lack of grill cleaning especially being one of the first orders of the day seems is incredible as my partner had a reaction on a supposedly clean grill.Fishy taste on both chicken and beef, there shouldn't be cross contamination between the chicken and fish or chicken and beef as it can be contaminated in the process even with cooking.

This place is the best, they dont skimp on any toppings and they have a few stores around boston. Its better and cheaper than chipotle as well.

This small eatery is set up similarly to the Chipotle franchise. But the prices are much better and the food quality and taste is excellent. The only drawback for someone from California or Texas, there is literally no heat in any of their salsas. Lol.

I use to love this place but they fell off !! I got a shrimp burrito and the rice was very mushy and they only gave me 3 shrimps (yes I counted ) so I paid $16 dollars for 3 shrimps I don’t think that’s fair !!! Unfortunately I will not be back . I miss how they used to be !

My experience at this location was awful. The cashier, who had black hair, was extremely rude. When I asked her to add cheese and salsa to my two bowls, she seemed to have an attitude about it. Later, when I checked my order in the car, I realized that the other items were missing cheese. I asked the person I was with to go back and get some, and he told me that she was just as rude again and asked why I didn't mention it earlier. I decided to go back inside to express my dissatisfaction with her unprofessional behavior. She responded by telling me that she was the only one working and going on about other irrelevant things. I have made up my mind to never return to that place and they will not receive my business. It is not right to direct frustration towards paying customers or anyone, for that matter.
