I think, I have eaten at better mexican around this area. I’d rather take a walk to Chipotle. Food is not that tasty.

Came here for the vegan options and was satisfied. Pleasantly surprised even. Love that they label the vegan items on the menu and that their refried beans are vegan. I got a bowl and my hubby got a burrito, and we left happy. ??Parking: Parking in the neighborhood is extremely limited. I recommend taking public transportation.

My sister and I wanted a place we could chill and chat during a mid-afternoon Saturday. With southern exposure on a 15 degree day Amelia's was perfect. Their homemade chips are light and airy. Just the way we like them. The salsa has layers of flavor.Vegetarian options: Their bowls with beans and cheese look delicious.Parking: diagonal on street metered.

This place has good vibes, I was hungry right before a walk around the reservoir (nice walk if you’re in the area). The guy that served me was so friendly, gave me a little lesson on good Mexican food, then brought me a freshly cooked plantain to accompany my burrito bowl, told me it would balance out my meal. Plantain was delicious as was my bowl. Lovely place, lovely man. 5/5

Service was fast but again no one was there except for me, after reading reviews I was excited to try this spot but the burrito was not good at all. Absolutely no taste the rice needed flavor, the steak had no flavor, I honestly was shocked cuz everything looked so flavorful but once you took a bite it was like eating cardboard. Just bland.. y’all need to fix that. And why charge more for steak? I understand shrimp but l every other place you have the option of chicken steak pork, they don’t charge extra because it’s factored in the price. Basiclly they are telling you that your paying 12$ for rice and beans, and the protien cost extra. If the food tasted good maybe but for food that tasted like nothing not worth it, there are better places to eat esp Mexican.

If your in the mood for Mexican food go elsewhere. Idk what these other reviews are talking about but I got a burrito and quesadilla and all the steak and pork was bland, idk what it’s missing, oh wait it’s missing spices. I swear I never had Mexican food this bland. Do better as a Mexican establishment your an embarrassment to Mexican food. Prices are fair for todays day and age but again the food is not good, I can’t even say it’s ok. Service was great, there was about 4 customers and we all good served within 10-15minutes…

This is a great neighborhood Mexican spot with outstanding service. For example they went out of their way to prepare a gluten-free burrito for my wife and then make sure the bags were labeled so we wouldn’t get them mixed up. Always a great experience here!

This review is specifically for my most recent visit. I wanted to switch up my dinner regimen....a change from pizza, so I went to Amelia's. Overall, my experiences here have been good (I just wish they'd bring back the street corn!!!) but this visit was particularly good. I asked for extra cheese on my burrito- they did not disappoint. I filled up the burrito and decided to upgrade to a meal (soda and chips). The gent at the register was very hospitable and friendly....having a conversation with me, but even better, he proudly offered a free sample of VERY fresh homemade salsa. It was so good I recommended he market it! I don't like anything spicy. This had a kick but was delicious. Folks, go to this Amelia's and leave the adjacent chipotle in the dust! I ordered two SIDES of chips and guac from chipotle.....and was stunned by the fact that it was almost $20 for a small bag of chips and an even smaller ramekin of guac....i started walking away but decided to turn around and return it... I went to Amelia's and got the same thing....fresher chips, bigger serving of guac, and about 1/3 the price, TOTAL. Amelia's is the place, folks! Just bring back the street corn and keep those soda fountains stocked and you'll be golden. And market that salsa!

This place is a staple for BC students because of how close it is to campus and it is pretty solid. The prices are reasonable and the food is also tasty! I love how nice the people are there, I was treated with a lot of smiles and the man there was super nice and let me try the other sauce for my chips for free! The place has a lot of space to sit and hangout while eating your food. I would come here again especially for days I want cheap but filling food!

Today was great. I really wanted nachos so I came here and got myself a healthy amount of nachos and some horchata. The food was tasty and they were friendly! There's no reason to rate any less than five stars!
