Went with some friends for breakfast the food was fine but the service sucked. I asked my waitress for a knife and she responded “do you really need a knife? You don’t need them for scrambled eggs, and you’re almost done with your French toast.” She refused to give me a knife and waters. Short grey haired woman with tats. Disappointing.

The service was not friendly at all and we were intimidated to ask for anything because we were noticed how much any otder annoyed the service member. Everytime we wanted to order an additional drink, we got the stinky eye from the waitress. The athmosphere was just very noisy, but OK. The food was delicious. However, we waited almost an hour for the food and two out of eight orders came out incorrect.

Food was ok, service was horrible. Took forever to get seated when it was not busy, had to walk up to the table to get the bill since no one came. Took forever to give us the change from the bill. Would not recommend

I came in after work to have a berry salad and an espresso martini. From the moment I sat down, the bartender (Nicole) was immediately rude to me for no reason. I quietly asked for water with no ice and placed my order and she told me she wouldn’t serve me alcohol because I was “drunk.” I was shocked, since I hadn’t had a single drink all day. She then said my eyes “looked glazed over,” which I found not only insulting but very strange.

The experience was humiliating. I hadn’t done anything to warrant it and being told in front of others that I “looked drunk” when I clearly wasn’t was completely inappropriate.

If this woman is working when you walk in, I would avoid. Plenty of other great restaurants nearby!

What a wonderful find. We were walking around looking for a restaurant near our hotel. Its a family style historic restaurant with great food at a decent price. We especially liked the pumpkin risotto. I'd never had it but it was delicious and seemed appropriate for the fall.

Greasy, forgot advertised ingredient in omelet. Ice tea tasted weird.
English muffin was good, only thing that I really ate. Waitress didn't recognize I didn't eat food. Wouldn't go back

Update:

The food and the service are pretty good. They have a lot of parking which is wonderful in Boston.

Earlier post:

We went at 9:30, half an hour before closing, but they had already closed. Not impressive.

We had an okay experience the other time we went.

Customer service is more important to me than the food. This waitress who waited on me was very pleasant and polite. The breakfast was delicious too.

I've come here for breakfast numerous times because the menu is so good! Never a long wait at all and service is very nice and attentive.

The service is friendly and attentive. It might be that everything on the menu is good but I'll never know because I could order the steak tips every day and never get tired of them.
