It’s a true schooner bar. For me it was a real life Cheers. I got to know the regulars and the workers well and everyone was so nice, even to this New Yorker. Made one of the best experiences even better and it will be missed dearly.

Went to Coogan’s with a few friends but the bouncers there were giving us a hard time and we left. Walked around the block and found this spot, and I’m really glad we did. Extremely casual setting, and $1 house beers with no cover; you can’t beat that in Boston!

Solid dive bar in the middle of the downtown area. Bartenders were cool as can be. Tom, is a cool dude..when I'm back in town gonna thank him for the solid recommendation Santapios pizza.

Sat down at the bar and the bartender carded me and proceeded to tell me I had to leave because I had a fake ID. Their bouncer bent up my ID, then I got booed out of the bar by the entirety of the bar patrons. It was pretty surreal actually. Not a great look Boston.
