You never know what to expect when a longstanding business changes hands but the new owners have done a great job of maintaining the spirit of Anna's Donuts and even bringing some upgrades - they now take cards, more menu options, etc. I recently stopped in during a heatwave to pick up donuts for the office. The owners were there working away turning out batches of donuts despite a broken AC and hot temps inside. The donuts were a HUGE hit in the office!

Good luck to the new owners and here's to many more years in business! I just hope they get their AC fixed :)

I’ve come to Anna’s several times now. This place has some amazing donuts. I love that it’s near the train stop so I can pop in for a quick snack before work. This is a hole in the wall type. It’s very clean but very modest. I don’t mind. The staff size is very small so if you order breakfast sandwiches and it gets busy, you might have to wait a little. Breakfast sandwiches are pretty good. There is nothing fancy here but everything is done right.

Tried a couple different different donuts and an iced coffee, all amazingly fresh and the customer service from the gentleman behind the counter was top notch

Donuts so fresh , they are very delicious. You can pay with your credit card also. I head the guy said it is under new ownership. Will stop by every morning her before work.

The donuts fresh, taste very good and more selection, I heard it is under new management . Also they accept debit and credit card now . It open till 2:00pm.

As long as this donut shop keeps its doors open, West Roxbury has a future.

This place is straight out of the 90s or even 80s. CASH ONLY (there is an atm inside). It's 100% no frills, old school, donuts the way they used to be. And it's absolutely delicious. They're not trying to sell you a donut that looks good on Instagram. They don't know what Instagram is. They're not trying to sell you the idea of a donut or the emotion attached to a donut. They just sell you the most basic delicious donut. A donut so delicious, they haven't needed to update or change anything they do. The product sells itself...I highly recommend the basic glazed. Chewy, delicious, melts in your mouth like sweet, heavenly vapor. And just like vapor, it's gone before you know what happened. Just go get it. Stop reading this and get the damn donut.

A co-worker brought a dozen glazed doughnuts into the office and they were delightful! Doughnuts were fluffy and tasted homemade as opposed to what you’d find at a dunks or chain.Would definitely recommend and I’ll make an effort to stop at the store at some point in the near future

The woman behind the counter seemed very sad was somewhat unfriendly & visibly irritated. I ordered 2 dozen donuts and it rang up as $53, (cash only) need I say more???
