Hidden Gem

A co-worker brought a dozen glazed doughnuts into the office and they were delightful! Doughnuts were fluffy and tasted homemade as opposed to what you’d find at a dunks or chain.Would definitely recommend and I’ll make an effort to stop at the store at some point in the near future

The woman behind the counter seemed very sad was somewhat unfriendly & visibly irritated. I ordered 2 dozen donuts and it rang up as $53, (cash only) need I say more???

Small family-run coffee shop with delicious donuts and coffee and excellent service. They are however cash only so make sure you bring cash or use the ATM inside.

My family absolutely loves these donuts. Best donuts in the Boston area. Handmade daily. Worth the stop in West Roxbury. This small business is a hidden gem!

Old school style joint with good classic donuts. Cash only. For some reason this is one of the few donut spots like this in Boston, so it’s my default choice.Recommend calling ahead to see if they’re open, as they don’t post off-schedule closures on google. Also highly encourage getting there by 8am if you want a full selection of donuts. They usually close early around 1030-11 after selling out completely. It would be awesome if this were not the case.Costs $28 for a dozen. Service is what you’d expect from an old school place like this and I hope that never changes ❤️If I have the time, I’ll drive to Kane’s instead. Their donuts are better quality and their inventory is better stocked.

Only went here once so far and it was after lunch ( that normally makes a difference in the donut/coffee world) Coffee was good but the coffee roll was excellent!! Unlike any other coffee roll I've ever had. It wasn't too sticky but best of all it was light and fluffy. Normally coffee rolls are kind of heavy. Delicious, but heavy. Like Arnold said in the Terminator.. " I'll be back."

Oh I love the doughnuts in this little musty smelly shake. It still smells of the hundreds of thousands of mise that probably still live here, god only knows how many times the health department has shut this place down. The people from west Roxbury are the most naïve people in the State.

Not honest. Went there this morning. Got 60$ out of the bank, went directly there to buy a coffee, accidentally gave the older guy (think its the owner) behind the counter two 20$. He pocketed 1 and gave me my change. Noticed him staring at me the whole time i walked to my car, didn't think much of it. When i went to get gas, realized i was missing 20$, now it makes sense. Can't support a business that steals from customers.

With a “dunkies” on every corner, it’s easy to miss these small, independent donut shops, but Anna’s is by far the best around!! Their honey-dip donuts literally melt in your mouth! Dieters beware - if you eat one, you’ll want 3 or 4 more right away!!

Best donuts I’ve ever had and great iced coffee too. Missing them from Ireland

This place is infuriating. On the one hand, their honey dew donut is the best donut in eastern MA. Great consistency, just the right amount of nutmeg, a glaze that's sweet but not overwhelming. On the other hand, this place regularly closes for long stretches of time and there's no way to find out if they are open or not unless you go. I drove there a few months ago and a sign taped on the door said they would be closed for vacation until august 8. Fine. But then I came back and a new sign said they'd be closed until august 24. This is not the first time this has happened. I'll keep going but I'll also keep being annoyed about it.

Amazing Donuts, a must try when in the area!

I love that we have a donut shop in the neighborhood; I just don't love Anna's donuts. I don't even like them, and that makes me sad. The main reason I wouldn't recommend their donut is they leave that waxy texture in your mouth that happens when baked goods are made with margarine. I doubt they are somehow frying donuts with margarine, but that's the best analog I can think of to how mouth feels after eating their donuts. I do like that they have coconut donuts. I'm bummed they don't have apple fritters. Donuts cost about $2 a piece.

After reading all the good reviews, I was excited to try it out. As I walked through the door, the old guy behind the register looked at me with an empty, cold, depressing look. I felt so uncomfortable I had to say hello just to break the ice. I ordered a dozen donuts and it costed almost $29. Absurd price! They are all ridiculously sweet. Very small selection to choose from. I also ordered a coffee and it’s like any average coffee you get from 7 Eleven. I handed over the cash and the guy slammed the change on the counter right in front of me. The shop is small and old. The atmosphere and sad and depressing. It’s my first time here and also my last time.
