Absolutely fine dining at fair market prices. The staff was brilliant, the food well prepared, and the atmosphere wonderful. There's not enough praise that I can heap on Atlantic Fish. We had the whole fish that came with sides topped with a fresh Guinness. Everything was expertly prepared. Dessert was through the roof. Great restaurant, attentive staff.
We’ve been here for many Christmas dinners. It’s always been excellent, but this year AF dropped the ball on food, not service. The bay scallop appetizer was disappointing. The delicious morsels were overwhelmed by the risotto with truffle oil. Think delicacy, folks - but it wasn’t to be. Two of us ordered the tuna - rare - and at best it was medium. And no wasabi, and no ginger. Who does that? For the AF prices, they need to consistently knock it out of the park. Calamari and fritters were superb, but they didn’t compensate for the tuna and bay scallops.
Excellent, attentive service. Delicious seafood. Good portions for a hungry patron. Good price for the food prepared.
Nice experience to enjoy the Boston traditional food. The service is great, kind and calm. The kids had a special attention and everything worked well.
Walked in at 6 weekday without a reservation and got right in. It definitely became very busy shortly after! Food was faaaantastic!! I had the halibut, broccolini, and potato au gratin. All three were amazing! Spouse had the bay scallops. Just delicious!! Only complaint was the lobster bisque. It was very bland and cold. This was not representative of the rest of this meal!! So good!
The seafood here is phenomenal- extremely fresh and cooked perfectly! Loved the vibe and atmosphere, great location, and our server was outstanding! Prices are a bit high, but on par for what you’d see in the main core of the city - and the quality backs it up. We came in later in the evening on a Monday night and it was super busy - but they were able to seat us on their patio right away. They had heaters and it was so lovely. Great views of the city and awesome for people watching. To start, we chose the beet and goat cheese salad and omg it’s SO good!! It’s topped with candied pecans and comes with a lovely piece of fried goat cheese on the side - it was so light and delicious- I loved it. For our dinner, we ended up going for the paella - it’s expensive but would’ve been about the same if we’d ordered two separate dinners anyways so it worked out. The portion is massive and comes with generous amounts of the freshest seafood - soft flaky whitefish, giant shrimp, plump clams and mussels, chorizo and chicken - with all the seafood coming right from the Boston harbor that day!! Doesn’t get much more fresh and local than that! It was flavorful and cooked perfectly - came out steamy and sizzling - we almost at the whole thing lol!! Our server was so sweet, personable and very attentive - great service all around. The patio is chic and relaxing - with stellar views and definitely makes you want to linger and savor your meal. We had an all around excellent experience and would definitely come back next time we’re in Boston.
Our waiter rushed us and forgot to acknowledge a birthday even reminded hostess as we sat. Our waiter towards the front window (senior) did a drop and go never asking us how the food was - temperature etc. very dissatisfied with lack of service.
Arrived 6 min late because of traffic and had to wait 35 min. A part from this inconvenience (huge when you have jetlagged hungry kids), the food was just amazing. Kids loved the tuna tartare and the lobsters. Everyone was happy, but sadly a bit too tired to finish the meal.
The high rating of the Atlantic is well deserved. Service from Acadia was spot on; good knowledge of the menu and handy wine advice. Crab cakes were full of meat & well seasoned.
Really recommend this place for a fine dining meal whilst in Boston. The food was amazing, especially the Tune Tartare to start! The waiter was really attentive and talked us through the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

We had heard how good fish is in Boston, but I was disappointed in the pan-roasted, herb crusted halibut. Although the fish was fresh, the preparation was not that flavorful. Others is my group really enjoyed the chowder and the fish and chips. The service was excellent. The restaurant was very crowded and extremely noisy, which made it difficult to have conversations across the table.
Outstanding. The place was packed and it deserves to be. The knowledgeable waiter could not have been more helpful, and the food was tremendous. Not much more to be said.
What a great experience the family had tonight! My wife and son had lobster thermadore , while my daughter in-law and I had seafood far diablo . All were very good service was awesome as well. We will definitely be back again’
We went for dinner as a family. Everything was fabulous. One person had the scallops and a couple split the Norwegian salmon dinner, and it was enough for two. The corn soufflé was out of this world . The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We took a Boston cream pie to go, which was a good idea because it was sensational! The only downside was with the asparagus not as good as when it is in season. I would suggest they offer more local and in season produce.
Very nice dinner here. The fish and chips, the lobster roll were both excellent. Gorgeous restaurant with nice waitstaff
