My work caters from this place and it is everyone’s favorite day of the week. It’s a vegans dream and we are flush with options when it’s Anoushella. Their couscous, tabbouleh, kofta, walnut pepper spread, falafel, hummus, garlic sauce. All amazing. No notes. One of, if not the best, Mediterranean vegan food I’ve had in Boston/Cambridge area (and I’ve lived here for several years). This IS something to write home about.
Extensive menu with plenty of veg options, delicious food for a great price!
CELEBRATION!
We booked Anoushella for a milestone event in April. We worked with Aleks Bakhrakh, the event manager for all details. Aleks put together a fabulous food and beverage menu for us and gave us many suggestions on what would work and what would not. On the day of the party the wonderful Anoushella staff went above and beyond to make our 30+ guests welcome and comfortable, attending to every special need and request.
The food was phenomenal starting from the drinks (alcoholic & non alcoholic) hors d'ouevres, substantial appetizers, main course and finally the cake and dessert. The Anoushella team truly made the event memorable. I would highly recommend hosting your special event at the restaurant. The decor is modern, the space is ample, the linen was from Frette, small tables covered in white tablecloth and the hospitality is what you would expect at a good friend's house.
Many thanks to the Anoushella team and to Aleksandr!
I ordered the lentil rice Mediterranean bowl with chicken za'atar. They substituted hummus for the walnut harissa due to my need to be gluten-free. This meal was absolutely delicious, fresh, and so filling!! If Eastern Mediterranean food is your jam, you will not be disappointed! So good!
Just a not about the four stars for atmosphere: this restaurant is located in the Time Out Market food court so the expectation isn't high for atmosphere. That being the case, the ambiance is beer hall-eaque with subdued lighting and cocktails.
I tried Za’atar, Falafel, halloumi, and Beef shawarma were fresh and delicious.
Beef Shawarma was 10 out of 10.
10/10 ✨
Awesome and friendly, quick service. We do take out mostly, but its also very nice to sit in and eat.
yummy yum yum :)
really good food, gorgeous interior, small portions.
AMAZING fresh food! some of best food I've ever tasted!
Overall a nice experience
Digital menu boards would be very helpful. The food is very colorful and it would translate well to help with sales on a color screen.

Delicious vegan and gluten free falafel wrap. Not too greasy or too hard like many fried falafels can be. Rice based wrap so you can get gf if you need/want that option. I feel so lucky to find this place.
Vegetarian options: There’s lots of manoush and mezze choices. For vegan, just look for the things without labne and meat.
Dietary restrictions: Good for gluten free options too!

I am extremely disappointed with the service.
Upon arrival, despite our attempts to ask where to order, no staff member acknowledged us. After figuring it out, the cashier displayed a dismissive attitude, failing to ask if we were ready to order, and he made us feel unwelcome throughout the ordering process.
While the food was decent, it wasn't exceptional. Unfortunately, poor service overshadowed any potential enjoyment of our meal.

Love the vegan and gluten free falafel wrap sandwich. This is an Armenian Lebanese restaurant. It’s a cute cafe with outdoor seating and order at the counter inexpensive take away food. Several mezze are vegan. Fresh and tasty. Better than almost all other Mediterranean food in Boston area.
Little different from authentic Middle Eastern. But overall the food is very tasty and good. Manager is excellent and knowledgeable in explaining the menu. Nice clean place for a quick bite.
