Great spot to grab a quick breakfast. Cash only - so come prepared
Wanted a quick sandwich on the go. Ordered a BLT (one of the cheapest sandwiches to make) $9.00! If it would have been a great sandwich i may have been ok with the price. Sandwich was falling apart, lettuce was wilted, tomatoes were mushy. Asked if anything came with it for that price...no! I like supporting small business but won't be going back here.
We came from the westcoast for one of our kids. He heard great reviews but never eaten at Anthony’s Cafe. He was saving it to share with us. We liked it so much that we visited a couple times during our stay. It will be. Place we go back to when we are visiting. The food is like eating at home an Laurie like family. she made it that much better of an experience. Personalized her service.we should be back at the end of the summer. Can’t wait!
So glad a local told us about this place! Super fast and super delicious breakfast. We walked there from Faneuil Hall area. Close to waterfront and close to trolley stop. Would have gone every day for breakfast if we could have!
Its like having breakfast at home or next door. Simple.. delicious and fast! We had breakfast around 1pm and it was great. Many locals and set us up for the day. Folks were friendly and had some great suggestions for the surrounding area.
Great little breakfast and sandwich place. Felt very authentic and food was delicious. Get a latte here and not across the street at Starbucks. We had the tuna and BLT. Generous amounts, fresh, simple ingredients and best of all supporting the local people.
Great small little breakfast spot. Reminded me of breakfast back home. Visited twice while in Boston. Did not disappoint!
I hate to give this place a review, but it’s a local favorite of mine when I am in Boston. Some great choices for breakfast and lunch nothing fancy but good food!!!!
Nice little breakfast spot within walking distance of the Marriott Long Wharf. When traveling, we really prefer to eat at local places and this little spot is as local as it gets. We loved it.
Wanted a sit down type breakfast while touring Boston. Anthony's was recommended by the Trolley Tour. What a great place! A short walk from the riverfront, it's a small (6 tables?) "Mom and Pop type place that's been there many years. Quick service, delicious food, and inexpensive too! Just be aware that it is cash only! Anthony's is a "don't miss" for breakfast or lunch!

Small, bustling local breakfast spot. Been around for years. No frills here, just a classic diner. Good portions at a reasonable price. Food was good.
i go to anthony’s once a week at least because the sausage egg and cheese is a religious experience. by far the best place for straight forward breakfast food in the boston area. cash or venmo only.
Nice old school, no frills neighborhood cafe offering breakfast and lunch near Lewis Wharf. In North End Boston. Good portions and tasty food. They offer specials written out at the cashier (no table service for orders, you choose a table of dining in ... they'll deliver your food to your table). Today they offered Banana Pancakes as a breakfast special. Large portion and tasted great with fresh sliced bananas inside. Prices very reasonable. It's cash only, however they now offer Vemno for contactless payment.
Basic breakfast spot...cash only...I would take this place over chain restaurants any day of the week. The waitress was very nice. The dining area can get very cramped though.
Nice little corner shop! We noticed tons of regulars. Great customer service. Big menu with a little bit of everything. Food was delicious. Budget friendly.
