Real good food and very good service. The restaurant was pretty empty when we were there. Not sure why. It's in the Ritz and maybe folks don't know about it. Will definitely go again.

Excellent. Service very professional. My wife's gluten intolerance handled with aplomb. Lobster roll pricy but one of the best I've ever had.

Wait staff and support staff are exceptional. Food was a disappointment. Pasta dish was cool and dry on outside--looked like it had been sitting for hours. Dessert was pretty to look at but cheesecake was lumpy and grainy.

Great service. Food was very good but expensive. All wines are over $20 per glass and cappuccino are $9. So, a bit too expensive for a “bistro” experience

Food was amazing! Our server Eugene was wonderful. A wonderful evening. Highly recommend and look forward to returning. Do yourself a favor and order the Seafood Parpadalle.

Worst dining experience in Boston in quite some time. The server "E" was very friendly and effusive and although I tried to give him signs that I would like to sit and talk to my wife on our Wedding Anniversary, he stayed to talk quite a bit too much. Not the end of the World. I ordered a Burrata salad with Shrimp. "Chef needs 30 minutes to prepare the food" he said. OK it must be good then. I got a Salmon with Salad. Where was the Burrata? There was something white on the bottom of the plate underneath a bunch of salad but nothing that had a solid outer shell with creamy interior that I am used to whether it be at Puritan in Inman square or during travel abroad. Where was the Shrimp? "It is coming?" he said. I fully expected a PROPER Burrata this time but all I got was a small plate with 5 grilled shrimp on it. No apology. No check in either to see if things were OK or if we were happy. All this with one small starter, two drinks, two glasses of wine for $200. Wife enjoyed her order so at least there was that. Should have realized that a Hotel restaurant wouldn't live up to expectations. Won't be going back. Would dissuade anyone else from same - so many better options in the South End for an upscale experience. Struggling not to give this one star.

They were so kind to get me in early after a cancellation and package a dinner for a guest caught in traffic- great wagyu burger

I never leave (bad) reviews but this was a disappointment. I took my daughter for a special occasion and this place was not it. The service was very slow, the portions of salmon/chicken were really small, and the food was average at best. The rolls were good!

Our server, Uton, was really friendly and attentive and very good. Our food was well prepared and fresh. Good but not amazing food. Location cannot be beat for a pre-show dinner. Overall very good experience.

A lovely pre-theater venue! We were promptly seated by the hostess and promptly welcomed by our server. The cocktail menu for the day offered some quite nice selections. (Try Sail with Ilma!) Our server was engaging and perfectly attended us - not hovering, checking occasionally, but always within eyeshot should we need anything. Ours was light fare - soups (clam chowder and French onion) and salads (kale Caesar and a special of the day, a watercress salad featuring burrata and balsam berries - both wonderful). The entrees looked delicious; the diners next to us assured us they were. The only downfall to our experience is that we didn't save time to linger over dessert. Happily, however, there will be a next time. Already, we are looking forward to it.

We were running late because of traffic so we called to let them know. We were told not to worry and be safe "see you when you arrive" Service was prompt. Food was brilliant! Will return the next time I come into Boston for a show. Highly recommend

We dined at Artisan Bistro for a special ocassion before attending a Broadway show at the Citizens Opera House. Artisan Bistro is conveniently located near the theatre. The menu offered a variety of food and drink options. The quality and portions were excellent. I thought the drink prices were a bit high, but the wine and liquor pours were generous. The ambiance was relaxed and quiet, even though the restaurant is attached to the Ritz Carlton Hotel lobby.

Delightful pre-event meal. We had a lovely dinner for six people. The staff was attentive, the food was excellent, we were able to hear each other speak and walk to the theatre. It was a perfect start to the evening.

Restaurant was excellent. Mouad, our server was knowledgeable and courteous. Drinks are pricey ($20 -$25 each) but well made. Appetizer of lobster cannoli was tasty. Entrees (salmon, halibut) were excellent. Anniversary cake was complimentary and much appreciated. Very quiet restaurant. Perfect evening.
