Fantastic attentive waitstaff at this bistro. The mussels were fantastic. The red cherry tomatoes were delicious and also the mussel too. The sour dough bread was good too. The truffle fries were made for 2-4 people. They were garlicky good.

Myself and 2 other individuals went for brunch on a Sunday recently. Our reservation was for 11:15 and we had tickets for a 1pm show at a theater that was a 5 min walk away, so we figured we had enough time for a nice meal. We put our drink orders in after a couple minutes which was nice. It was then close to a 30 minute wait just to get our food order taken. Followed by an additional 30 minutes to get two of our three entrees. There was apparently an issue with the third entree which caused a further delay. We did not receive the last entree until almost 12:40, 20 minutes before showtime. The frustration caused by this made it impossible to enjoy any of the meal. The third entree was comped which was nice however I still can't recommend this restaurant. The communication was poor and the manager who was continuously walking around didn't even bother stopping by to apologize. For the price and the fact that it's the Ritz Carlton, you'd expect much better service.

Ate here on a Saturday before a show at the Wang. Service was perfect, server ver attentive. I had the price fixe for dining week. App. great, duck confit tender w a great bean and pepperoni sauce. What a great place before the theater. Loved it!

* Location/Time: Conveniently located near the theaters, this restaurant provides a great dining option before the show. It took us 1:15 mins for a 3-course dining with prix fixe menu in case you need to plan your time.*Food: We were happy with our food choices - see pictures with caption below. Duck confit was my favorite (also good size portion). Brussel sprouts did look a bit burnt but were actually ok.*Wine: They dont have French wine ? by the glass on the menu if that matters to you.*Service: The service was quick and our waiter Eugene was very attentive.*Kids: Kids friendly and provide a little coloring page. The restaurant is connected with the hotel lobby so if you need a little “exploration” walk with your toddler while waiting for the food to come out - you have that extra space to explore.

There’s an up-charge because it’s in the Ritz, but the food was fabulous and the service was great! RecommendDietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate gluten-free and dairy-free dietary restrictions

Stopped in for lunch after a brisk walk in the Boston Common. Great Bloody Mary's. Had the lobster roll and crab BLT. Both were great and served by friendly staff.

Stopped by the Artisan Bistro for some takeout to the room. I had an amazing experience both at the bar area while waiting for the food and with the taste and quality of the meals brought back as well. We couldn't recommend this establishment highly enough. Both the food and service were welcoming and fantastic, and the pastries were out of this world!

We went on Saturday before a matinee and there was only a brunch menu. Very limited “lunch” options and way overpriced for food quality. Its location in close proximity to theatre district is a positive.

Food is good, but not amazing for the price they charge. Service not so great. One waiter for the entire restaurant. Waited 35 minutes for our first drink and had to flag him down a few times to place our order. There were a number of bussers. Not sure why they don't just train them to help the one waiter! Overall nothing special. I would not say it's what you would expect for the Ritz brand. I would recommend to a friend only because it's decent and super convenient for theater district. Just be prepared to spend $30 for a glass of ok wine, and make your reservation early! We barely made an 8 pm show with a 5:30 reservation.

Our server, while polite, was terribly incompetent. After 20 minutes, he finally took our drink order, then came back 15 minutes later to tell us that the scotch whiskey we ordered was out of stock. I could see the bottle on the bar shelf, and had to walk over to the bar to show him where it was. I also ordered Chivas Regal 12 year old scotch, only to find out upon checking out that the bartender was pouring me Chivas Regal 18 year old scotch at $30 per drink! The food was very mediocre and the meal terribly overpriced.
