Food was superb. Have the scallops for an appetizer and it was phenomenal. Chicken parm and chicken marks a for dinner. Top notch. Accompanied with meatballs, Brussels and broccoli rabe. Everything was perfect. We will be back again soon.

For the pricing, pretty good. Solid meal, bread was a bit stiff, but other than that a good meal. Service was great honestly. Would come back for a rather inexpensive dinner.

Had an early dinner with a rowdy toddler and they were very kind and accommodating. Puttanesca was incredible.

Still my absolute favorite eggplant parm in the world. I can get really loud on busy nights. I was last there on a Thursday around 8 and it was a bit deafening. Worth it for the eggplant parm.

We decided to try this place, but it ended up being a letdown from start to finish. My food came out cold, and my brother-in-law’s gnocchi was the same. Cold and tasted like it came from a package at the store. Portions were small, especially for what they charge. We probably ate more of the bread than anything else, and even that was hard to get a second basket of.

Service was almost nonexistent. Our server vanished after taking the order, no updates, no check-ins, and only one drink refill the entire time. The whole thing felt careless. Honestly, I would’ve had a better meal at the Cheesecake Factory or just cooking something simple at home. Not going back.

Waited 35 minutes for my food with barely any acknowledgment from the staff. I only got one drink refill, and after that, the waitress completely vanished. No updates, no check-in, nothing. The service felt careless and the experience wasn’t worth the time or money. I won’t be coming back.

The service was not good. Long waits, staff seemed disorganized, and no one really checked in after the food came out. The food itself was overpriced and underwhelming. Portions were small, and the flavors were bland. Honestly, I should’ve just gone to the supermarket and made something at home for a lot less. This place didn’t meet expectations, and I don’t plan on returning.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was terrible. I waited 20 minutes just to be acknowledged, and it took another 10 minutes to get a simple drink refill. The appetizers were mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. One star.

Love the little bar area of Artu. We would have missed it if not for the friendly outdoor greeter. We had a shrimp scampi pizza and some mussels. Both were delicious. Our bartender was friendly and attentive.

Spent 26 dollars on gnocchi which was definitely from the supermarket, which is fine, but it was undercooked. sauce was bright and bland, tastes from a jar. Anybody going for food; do not.

Food was just okay. Red sauce and/or meat for lasagna had a very distinct unusual flavor.

We enjoyed an authentic - and very delicious - Italian meal. We didn't feel like we were surrounded by tourists and felt lucky to have stumbled across ‘local joint.' Our server was attentive and helpful and we had a tremendous evening.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
One of the best dining experiences we had all week in Boston! Artu on Prince Street in the North End completely delivered from start to finish.

We began with the most perfectly cooked calamari—crispy, tender, and easily the best we had in town. The sliced bread was delicious on its own, but even better as a mop for the amazing sauces that followed.

The mussels appetizer, cooked in a garlic and white wine sauce, was packed with flavor. We couldn’t stop dipping the bread in that sauce.

Artu’s house-made spaghetti is perfection—cooked al dente with the perfect bite. I had the melanzane (eggplant) parmigiana served with that incredible pasta… Mama Mia! Hands down the best I’ve ever had.

We also tried the spaghetti and meatballs and the penne with red sauce—both were absolutely delicious.

From the quality of the food to the cozy North End vibe, Artu is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!
