It was our first time eating at Artu's and we had such a great experience. Jen was our server and she was a delight...warm, friendly, helpful with the menu and so kind. The pink sauce was delicious and we enjoyed a great white glass of wine. The italian bread was delicious and so was the calamari and caesar salad. Wonderful family vibe and local North End neighborhood feel.
Terrific food and excellent cocktails. Very friendly staff and food came out timely, hot, and flavorful. You have to good to stay in business in the North End - we all know this - but this restaurant is up there with the best in the North End. Don't overthink it... just go and enjoy!
Our waiter disappeared for a long period of time. We ordered a second bottle of wine right away with the first bottle but it took 30 minutes to get that bottle - my silverware was cleared away with appetizer - my food came and after waiting about 10 minutes blocked in i had to go hunt down a server for silverware - the pasta was cold soggy and had little flavor - in the bottom of the bowl was about a half cup of green liquid.
