I want to congratulate this restaurant for absolutely nailing Valentine’s Day!!!! They were truly on top of everything, especially impressive given it’s one of the busiest nights of the year in one of the busiest areas. The service was impeccable from start to finish. As for the food, it was a bit mediocre, but considering how packed it was on Valentine’s Day, that likely played a role. Pricing was standard for the North End. The ambiance is also a bit different from the stereotypical North End spot - you don’t get the rustic, old-world Tuscan, cozy Italian vibe. Instead, it feels more modern.

A truly wonderful dining experience! The calamari was phenomenal, and both the Veal Osso Buco and Short Ribs were absolutely delicious. Paulo was an attentive and friendly server who made our evening especially memorable. If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely be returning.

We had the best experience ever at Assaggio Ristorante. The atmosphere is nice, cozy, and welcoming, perfect for a special night out. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared.
The staff was excellent, and our waitress Adelina truly made the night unforgettable. She is incredibly sweet, attentive, and professional. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the extra care and kindness we received meant so much to us. We were surprised with flowers, a delicious dessert, and a drink on the house, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch.
Everything about the evening felt special. We couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary celebration. Highly recommend—we will definitely be back! ❤️🍷🍰

All the food was excellent. Paulo was very attentive and knowledgeable. He made us feel welcome and special. I can't wait to eat here again. We had the zucchini flowers - not greasy and wonderfully warm and comforting packed with oozy filling. The gnocci was soft and melted in your mouth. Carbonara was divine. The special salad was light and well balanced. I can't wait to go back.
