Love the children’s museum! We bring our son here every weekend and it is just such a treat!

I brought my kids here after going here myself nearly 30 years ago! Fun exhibits that will keep your kids entertained for hours. The only disappointment was that the kids climbing area that used to be the “stairs” for kids, now does not have an exit on the top floor. It’s still very cool and a giant climbing area the kids will love. I just remember as a kid it being so cool that I got to climb the the platforms while the adults had to take the stairs haha. Don’t let that stop you though! Very good day with the kids!

My experience at the Boston Childrens MuseumThis museum is different from other museum. Its a children museum with all kinds of activities. Big climbing stations, little buses and planes, art workshops, science experiments and more. Bathrooms are available. Everything is kid friendly and the children have so much fun.The staff is very friendly and attentive. In terms of price, they have a lot of deals. Usually the price is 22$ a person, except if you’re under 12 months or a member (member price is 200$ yearly), but after 12:45 its only 1$ a person! Amazing!Overall my experience was great. Highly recommended.

Went for a play date. The kids seem to enjoy themselves although they were not happy about not doing everything. So the thing I do not like is the fact that they have these timed sessions ( either 9-11 or 1-4 ). Since it is such an interactive place with so many kids you have to time each room. When your kid enjoys a room you know it can’t be for long, otherwise you miss out on other rooms/floors. I went in the afternoon session, and it wasn’t as bad as I thought.

The Boston Children's Museum is a fantastic place for kids to learn, play, and explore. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy and excitement of the children around you. The museum is filled with interactive exhibits that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and imagination. One of the highlights of the museum is the three-story climbing structure, where kids can climb, slide, and explore to their heart's content. There are also art studios, science exhibits, and a play space for toddlers, ensuring that there is something for children of all ages. The staff at the museum are friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help and engage with the children. The museum also offers various educational programs and workshops throughout the year, providing additional opportunities for learning and growth.Overall, the Boston Children's Museum is a must-visit for families with young children. It's a fun, engaging, and educational place that will leave a lasting impression on both kids and parents alike.

So much fun!! This place is HUGE! We only got to 3 floors, I'm not even sure if there were more than that (the elevator says 6 floors) and we spent 2 hours here. For toddlers and young kids, it's amazing. $22 per person. Veterans are 100% FREE with VA card.Oh and if you're a 90s kid who is now a parent, you'll love the Peep & the Big Wide World exhibit! So much nostalgia! Lots of sensory play and climbing as well. Definitely going back!!

Lots of opportunities to play, learn, and explore. My kids, ages 3-8, love the museum. We do our best to go on weekdays, early, and have a membership so we rarely wait more than a moment or two to be checked in. There is a special room for kids 3 & under that is calm, and has tons of spaces to explore. There are different levels, with different rooms and experiences in each. My kids really enjoyed the Arthur exhibit area, especially. There is a space for eating, and a place to buy food (as well as vending machines). Bathrooms are clean and neat, and there are ample opportunities for cleaning one's hands. The biggest challenge is convincing the kids to leave- we usually have to tempt them with Shake Shack or a trip to the playground just down the harbor walk.

The staff was so nice and patient, and we went during the 1-4pm Sunday afternoon time slots when tickets cost $1 for each person. It was a 3-floor building with a lot of interactive exhibits for the kids, including water tables and soap/bubble tables, and jungle gyms. They have a free coat room, paid lockers, and plenty of restrooms and water fountains on site. It was a lot of fun for me and my kiddos, and we hope to go back again.

The place is great for kids over 3 years not recommend for kids that are started to walk since it’s only one place for them, I just don’t feel it’s a safe place after all since people go there to steal property, they have a stroller station and a jacket room do not leave anything there it’s really difficult with a child and have to Cary averting you have. On Sunday 02-04-2024 I got my kid stroller stolen from there with personal belongings including my boys jacket” $100” having carry a baby with not jacket is not fun it’s a cámara they just said go to the police station and file a report police station is faraway. Tickets are really expensive and they don’t have any control who come and take stuffs and walk away, I talk to people and those type of things always happens there but since things are not high value people not report it.

Several little redundancies and various nitpicks exist, but I ultimately found this to be a decent option for family outings. We will be back.

A bit too crowded, I struggle to see why a place centered around children doesn’t have room for strollers. Then not enforce their own rules My son and daughter in law took turns carrying their youngest because strollers weren’t allowed.I think had we gone on a week day, it might be less crowded. The kids enjoyed the activities they were able to do.

My kids have had a lot of fun visiting here. There are a lot of different things to see and so I've usually just followed them around while they explore.
