Great dinner on a busy Friday night in the North End. We were seated about 25 minutes after our reservation time. You could tell the restaurant was very busy, and they were doing their best to open up tables. Once seated, everything was fantastic. Great service from Brian, antipasto was delicious, entrees very good. Busy bar scene on the first floor, this was fine with us, but if you are looking for a quiet dinner, request 2nd floor seats.

Our table was not ready as the other earlier guests were lingering. So we waited in the cramped entry way as there were not 4 seats at the bar and three of us don't drink anyway. Our waiter was excellent. The food came out promptly and everything was delicious. The sound level upstairs was so loud we could not easily hear each other.

Bacco was wonderful. Had reservation ( very much needed) and was taken on time to our table upstairs. seated by an wonderful open window. Interior is very nice and energy was perfect. Food was outstanding!!! Highly recommended in the North End . Would go back again.

The windows were open, and some noise came from nearby establishments. Great for a meal before going to TD Garden. It's also nice to find a cocktail as many of the restaurants in the area only serve beer and wine.

We were seated immediately near a window which was nice. It took our server a while to get our drink order and drinks and at the time there was only 1 party upstairs and another person that was seated after us. We were never asked if we wanted bread or another drink while we were there. Our server must have been tending bar downstairs as we went long periods without seeing her. I wish other waiters would have jumped if she was busy elsewhere. The food looked great but the chicken parm and chicken cacciatore were overcooked and not as tender as we expected. I think this is a good restaurant, but we expected more given it wasn't busy when we arrived at 6:15 and there were still several seat available when we left at 7:45

Dining at Bacco in Boston's North End was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the historic heart of the North End, Bacco embodies everything that makes Italian dining in Boston legendary—authentic flavors, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and a level of service that goes above and beyond. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like honored guests, attentive without being overbearing, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality. The food was absolutely spectacular. The chicken parmigiana was a true standout—tender, juicy, and layered with rich flavors that showcased both authenticity and artistry. The ravioli two ways was simply divine, cooked to perfection with sauces that highlighted the chef's craftsmanship, and the pasta itself was homemade with that perfect texture and freshness you can only get in a top-tier Italian restaurant. Every bite felt like a journey to Italy. Beyond those highlights, everything we tried was exceptional. The appetizers were fresh and flavorful, the entrees were plated with care and flair, and the desserts were the perfect sweet finish—decadent without being heavy. The cocktails and wine selection were equally impressive, crafted and curated to complement the meal perfectly. What made the experience truly memorable, though, was the impeccable service. Every staff member we encountered was knowledgeable, attentive, and personable. Water glasses were never empty, recommendations were spot on, and everything flowed seamlessly, creating an atmosphere where all you had to do was sit back and enjoy. The ambiance of Bacco deserves a mention as well. Situated in the bustling North End, it captures both the energy of the neighborhood and a sense of refined elegance inside. It's lively without being overwhelming, making it ideal for a romantic date night, a family celebration, or even just a night out with friends when you want to enjoy something truly special. As for value, Bacco delivers

This was our first time at this restaurant and we absolutely loved it! We had a great view from the second floor and were seated right next to the large open window. I had the veal parm and my husband had the chicken. Both were excellent and the portion was just enough. We will definitely be coming back

Great restaurant. Awesome portions for the $$ you spend. Great vibes all around. Highly recommend if you've never been.

Great Italian food and attentive service. Sat in the upstairs dining room which was quieter. If they would play Italian or old Sinatra-style music instead of the pop/rock music they play, it would improve the atmosphere.

First time eating there and we used the restaurant week menu. Everything was great, portions were perfect. Would definitely come back.

The bruschetta, caprese salad, shrimp and salmon and good old spaghetti and meatballs were excellent and our server, Brayan, was outstanding. We always look forward to eating @ Bacco.

This restaurant was nice but we couldn't get past the heat! There is no air conditioning and it was about 85 degrees in the restaurant. We had to walk outside twice to get air. If you come in non-summer months, I'm sure it's great!

Sat right away. Server took a long time to greet us. Then took forever to get our drinks. The meal came out right after the drinks were brought to us. No flavor in food. In both chicken Marsala and chicken piccata. The parm risotto had no flavor also. Very disappointed It was busy and the server still took a long time

We celebrated my sisters 40th birthday here and also restaurant week! The apps were delicious from the calamari and prosciutto/mozzarella. The chicken parm and chicken piccatta were amazing! We definitely will be coming back :)
