Staff was all super friendly. Our server Domenic D was great and attentive. Food was all delicious and fresh. Decent selection of drinks. We had the burrata caprese, lobster man n cheese, and a burger. My partner had the blueberry thyme smash cocktail and she recommends giving it a try if you like blueberries.

Friendly atmosphere; great food choices. Big plate choices; smaller plate choices; burgers, salads, etc. We were not rushed out, even though it was a very busy night.
They were very accommodating when we were late for our reservation due to traffic. We were on a time crunch to catch a show and our server Emily was great, taking our order quickly and she was attentive and made sure we were out on time.

My girlfriend ordered the meatloaf and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the salmon with the teriyaki glaze and it was equally delicious. We loved the hummus plate with grilled vegetables as well as the caprese appetizer. Dominque was a wonderful waiter. He was attentive and offered perfect suggestions! I will definitely recommend Back Deck to my friends/family.

An apres matinee theater dinner on a Sunday.. ..4 friends. I had described the restaurant as American food to one of our party ... And as we were eating we realized we were eating Indian curry meatloaf, Moroccan chicken skewers, Mexican pulled pork tacos and Cajun Andouille sausage... ,we all laughed. What could be more American! Our server Ari was excellent .. shout out to her for her friendliness and service.
Great location across from Boston Common and down the street from the theater district. Nice vibe inside.

The timing of the food was off. Some people have their food and then one person got their side order and didn't get their entrée till other people were halfway done eating. Diet Coke tasted off.
