The food is great but every time I am there it's empty except for the employees and, unfortunately the hours are hit or miss. It's posted as being open until 3:00 but I've tried to get in there at 1:30 several times and they're closed. I don't know if they run out of food or just get bored, but to close at lunch time is probably not a good sign.

Owner was super nice and friendly. Thr food was great. The steak sandwich was the best had in along time. Kids loved the ham sandwiches. Recommend to others and would eat here again next time in Boston.

Was excited to hear this new location had opened downtown, so I made the trip over there during work. The whole place was dead empty long after the lunch hour, but the employees continued to ignore me as I stood there trying to figure out where to order. I've never seen so many employees milling around doing absolutely everything except servicing customers. I started to order a menu item at the register but I got tired of watching people with masks around their chins play with their cell phones and j*** around with each other instead of taking my order, so after watching this all and trying to be patient, I just turned around and left. This place won't survive, it was just *that bad*.

Big fan of their salads. I am always on the hunt for healthy alternatives to everyday fast food and I have to say that this place has some seriously good options. Big fan of their steak salad, which is very healthy and tastes great. Its always an investment to pay a little bit more for your health, and I think its a great place to try out.

Our company orders from Bailey & Sage, lunch once a week (for the Covid pandemic). For the past two weeks, my order has been placed for the Cobb salad with NO blue cheese. Both weeks, they added blue cheese. 1) I do not like blue cheese; 2) I have celiac and some blue cheese has wheat in it. This is completely unacceptable. They need to pay attention to the orders. We placed an order for 16 lunches today. There's no reason why they should be making mistakes. Would NEVER go there if it were my choice, and because they keep screwing up, we may take them off the rotation.

This place consistently overcooks their food, forgets items and puts an absurd amount of sauce in their quinoa bowls. I have never been more disappointed by a lunch destination in downtown Boston. Last resort, only to be had on rainy days if you work in 100 Fed. Also - its 2019 (soon to be 2020) should definitely consider getting ApplePay....The best part is you get all of this horrific service/food product for 20% greater than the generic lunch option. In hindsight, they should pay the customer for dealing with their persistently poor quality and even worse food.Bailey & Sage (100 Fed) = Trash!!

My nominee for worst run business of the year...Every experience seems to prove this store represents a rookie attempt at fast casual dining.I've come here close to 20 times during the year, by virtue of them being in the lobby of 100 Federal. If my order wasn't flat out wrong there was usually a random piece of someone else's meal included.Look for messy for prep areas, poor store layout, and generally unwelcoming / unhelpful staff. Not to mention $4+ for a bagel with cream cheese that get's toasted in a panini press???Last resort for employees at 100 Federal on a bad weather day.

3rd time is a charm... will never return. Boston is busy during lunch, and I don't want to stand in line for 20 mins- so I order online, on the Bailey & Sage website. It tells you when the order is ready- how hard can this be? About to find out! Arrive with my colleague 30 mins after placing the order, at the scheduled time. She gets in line. They make her salad, she pays for it. I'm still standing there, saladless. When I'm finally able to flag someone down, they ask me the name on the order, and pluck my order slip from the lineup of others- and tell the lady with the bowl & tongs to "make this one." The Bailey & Sage professionals of the day, may not understand the concept of ordering ahead. But this isn't the 1st time this has happened so it is likely poor training. Theres about 16 other places I can get a salad from in a 4 min walk radius of my office, that charge 1/2 the price and they taste the same or better (better because it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to spend $16 on a salad and get deficient customer service). Skip this place & go to SweetGreen. Their online order & system in place to support it is flawless.

We order here through work, and 5 times out of 10, they don't mix the oil-based dressings, and simply send a cup of oil with about 4 molecules of vinegar and seasoning. Also, careful about miscellaneous toppings in your salad. I often get pieces of feta in my salad, which I didn't order. Also, sometimes they read "chick peas" as "chicken" and then if you don't eat chicken, you've got nothing. Buyer beware. It's decent if it's right, but often it's not.

Perfect place to grab a lunch in the area! Endless choices for sandwiches or salads. I opted for a salad and just customized one that they had on the menu... so much food and how can you resist a tossed chopped up salad. So you can get crunchy veggies, meat, and flavorful dressing in each bite. Can't beat it! Line was crazy long but it goes quickly.
