Ordered the banh mi combo #3. Thought it would be a quick grab and go since the store wasn’t busy but I ended up waiting 25 minutes with 4 people who ordered AFTER me getting their orders first. Asked the cashier lady why that was happening and she basically ignored me.
The bahn mi itself tastes good but it’s very bready and could use more veggies and sauce. Eggroll was cold and the drink is just 2 sips with 90% of it being ice. Combo was $14.50 after tax which is good value but it’s a you get what you pay for experience.

The phở is incredible (I get the tofu Phở), I get it when I have to study for long hours as a pick me up! It is my favorite around here, the Bahn Mi is also really good!

Unfortunately my dac biet banh mi did not have pate. That's like one of the key elements. It was probably left out by mistake. I'll need to try again and see if they can redeem themselves.

I decided to try Banh Mi Huong Que after seeing some positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to the hype. Based on the quality of the food, I would recommend exploring other options for Vietnamese food in Dorchester or Quincy area.
I ordered the Lemongrass Steak Banh Mi and the Lemongrass Pork Rice Bowl. The Banh Mi was underwhelming—the bread was soft but not toasted, and the steak lacked any real flavor. While it wasn't terrible for the price, it didn't have the quality or taste I was hoping for.
The Lemongrass Pork Rice Bowl was even worse. The texture of the pork was so off that I couldn't tell if I was eating meat or paper, the texture was weird. The fish sauce also felt incomplete, lacking that essential depth of flavor. To make matters worse, I found hair in my rice. It was a disappointing meal overall, and I won't be returning.

What a great hole in the wall spot!! Went here on a whim and I was NOT disappointed. $7.50 is really reasonable especially in Boston for a good banh mi! Tons of customers while I ate, which is a huge good sign. Service was super fast, bread was crisp and the pickled veggies were delicious. I liked that you can customize how much of each ingredient is in your sandwich. I got the pork belly banh mi, there were some chewy bits (fat, maybe?) I picked out- regardless, overall delicious. The shrimp rolls with peanut sauce are also amazing! I do wish more bottled drink options were available, but the sandwich was my main focus for the visit. Will be coming back again for an affordable and delicious meal :)

Compared to bread in Vietnam, it loses because it lacks crispness and heat. Spring rolls are okay to eat and very big. Acceptable because it is convenient and easy to eat when traveling.

The food- banh mi thit nguội, or thịt nướng…
The cost just not worth. The meats very fewer for the money charged.
Not recommend anyone to this takeout.

I got a takeout from here, service was super quick and people were courteous.
The lotus leave wrapped rice & pork (warmed up) was very very dry. It fell apart as soon as i opened it up and inside was cold and dry. I was scared to eat and had to throw it out.
I also got the fried spring rolls which was ok.

I saw the reviews so made a visit because I love banh mi. These were very underwhelming because I expected way more. Sandwich was way more bread than I expected and the meat was oily. I ordered their mainstays like the banh mi heo and the banh mi teriyaki tofu. The banh mi heo was way too oily/greasy and the person almost forgot my second sandwich. And the veggies didn’t taste fresh and they could have added more. There’s another banh mi place a few blocks away where portions are way better and much fresher veggies and much mess oily. I wouldn’t go here just because the bread was way too much, sandwich was greasy/oily, not enough veggies.

Amazing BAHN MI sandwiches. Had beef with lemon grass (with double meat option) and were very pleased.

Sandwiches are good, but I was flat out refused a dairy-free iced Vietnamese coffee. seems unreasonable.especially for a place with tofu on the menu. most other viet and thai places sub with coconut cream or milk. or even just a cup of coffee wtf.
In response to the restaurant that went out of its way to respond: Saying "we don't offer" is just another way to say that you are refusing to cater to people who have dairy allergies, dietary restrictions, and frankly a sandwich shop on the other side of the planet from vietnam selling french baguettes should not be splitting hairs over authenticity. Never coming here again.

Kind of surprised by all of the rave reviews, but maybe I didn’t order well? The sandwiches are about $8 after tax, which is good for the portions. I went around 5pm on a weekend, and the bread seemed to be stale, and the filling was not very flavorful in my opinion.
