Bar Mezanna is a balm on a weekday night when you need a bit of self-pampering. The food is inventive and delicious, and the atmosphere lively but chill enough for conversation. They accommodated a last minute request to move the reservation a bit later. The service is attentive and not overbearing. Definitely recommend the crudo, grilled garlic sourdough with eggplant dip, and nudja stuffed olives for apps. We shared a ragu. Drinks were on point. Will definitely return the next time we are in Boston.

Always a perfect time at Bar Mezzana! Fall Burata was brilliant, pastas are some of the best you'll find and don't sleep on the perfect double cheeseburger. Did I mention this is the best espresso martini in the city? Well, it is.

While the service was friendly, the ambience was very sleek and the cocktails delicious, my entree was terribly small for the price and just did not feel like a good value. I had a special, rabbit Porchetta style which was served with greens. It just lacked a certain something. The skin was not properly crispy like Porchetta and the food left me wanting.

Everything was outstanding. From reservation and paying the bill, the service from multiple staff members, everyone was warm, friendly, and accommodating. We enjoyed cocktails, appetizers (Fried Brussels, Fett'unta - a roasted garlic grilled sourdough and Whipped Feta Spread), and wines by the glass to pair with our entrees. Entrees: Lobster Paccheri, Tagliolini with ragú bolognese, Cacio e Pepe, and a vegetarian lasagne were flavorful, beautifully presented and well-proportioned.
