When you book at the Moxy, at least when I did last weekend, you are paying for a $35 F&B fee. Basically, it's a credit that can be used at their bar. I had a few whiskey's, and ordered the pepperoni half pizza. Here's the issue, and I can't say this is always the case, but when you order food it comes from some secret kitchen and gets placed on a ledge near the entrance. Was my name called? Perhaps, but I had headphones in while I was working on my laptop. I wasn't told about this, and the pizza was cold. So, I think at best the pizza would have been 4 stars, but giving that alone a 3 rating. There was a shift change so it's very possible that caused the issue vs them being bad at their jobs. For the hotel/bar, pro tip would be to let people know ahead of time your little system of getting customers their food, at least more consistently. Peeps who may read this, now you know.
There is nothing to write home about here. We stopped in for cocktails on our way to the theater and found this place to be quite minimal and barren. Seating is very uncomfortable and placed haphazardly. Drinks are WAY OVERPRICED. 2 small drinks $36.50.
The bar and surrounding lounge area did not appear clean at all, or we would have tried a snack. Service is subpar. It's not a welcoming lounge/bar. 😕
It was convenient having a bar that was located in the hotel. Unfortunately the food we got was cold but likely it was free because the front desk had given me $35 vouchers when I checked in as well as a free drink vouchers that was good at the bar. The drinks weren’t too bad but there was much of a party atmosphere considering it was a Saturday night.
Stopped here for a beer and snack before our comedy show. Such a great atmosphere, the bartenders were welcoming, the design of the first and second floor was amazing. I'm taking note to stay at their hotel if I see any good deals come up the next time I visit Boston.
Hosted a Corporate Holiday party on the roof level and it was perfect!
Way overpriced. Bartender doesn’t know what they’re doing.
Bartender acted like he hated people who are given the $35 hotel drink/food voucher. Told me they were out of the first 3 drinks I tried to order and forgot to make one of the two that I settled for, then Ignored me. 20 minutes later I was able to walk away with a drink for me and my wife. Not busy that afternoon. Poor service which sounds like it might be common here. Talked about me to his buddy like I didnt understand spanish. Sticky bar boozy drinks. Decent seating and vibe.

Nice bar lots seating and great food
One of the coolest venues is Boston.
Check these guys out for a spectacular evening. I've attended a few of their D&D "High Rollers" nights and the view, food, music and vibes are excellent. Super friendly staff and good dinner options. Always looking forward to my next night there.

Be prepared to be ignored by the staff…even if you’re one of only three or four people in there. Don’t order from the kiosk either because the staff won’t see it. Also be prepared to follow up several times when your order doesn’t show up. The breakfast food is good although it’s a bit pricey. Nice atmosphere but the customer service and hospitality is severely lacking.

Beard Matt is the best!
I recently hosted my son’s 13th birthday party there. It was an incredible experience for him and our family. The service was impeccable. Peggy, Veronica and Vinny were very communicative and reassuring. The venue is stunning and requires minimal decor. The food was fantastic. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to the MOXY team for making a 13 year old super happy ❤️

Bar area is unorganized, bartenders took 10 minutes to ask if I wanted a drink. Bartender spilled many drinks while serving customers. All in all it’s not living up to the hype of the hotel.
