The hotel gives you a voucher (that you actually pay for) for $35 at the bar, but nobody warns you that it’s for a single transaction. So if you used that to buy a $3 water bottle the whole $35 is gone. So beware the scam. That “rule” is written very small on the voucher itself and nobody mentions it. So I won’t be spending any cash over what they force you with this voucher, you do at your own risk.

Excellent. I came to the bar because I was staying at the hotel. I normally don't recommend hotel bars or restaurants. In the case of Moxi it is different. The attention is very good and very fast. The prices are incredibly cheap. If you compare it to a hotel restaurant they are just expensive for the sake of it. And I thought the food tasted very good.

Drinks were insanely overpriced and not at all fresh, seemed to be made out of boxed juices or something. Meals were all from frozen and then microwaved. Snacks were unbelievably expensive (sorry, but I'm not paying $7 for one small granola bar). The staff were all grumpy. You can easily find someplace way better to go.

If it weren't for our food vouchers, we would've gone elsewhere. We stopped by for a drink in the evening. And in the morning for breakfast. Ordered two avocado toasts (they offer gluten free bread!). And they had free coffees! Avocado toasts were bland. It had pico de gallo and a hard boiled eggs. Mind you there is no kitchen here! They have oven toasters and microwaves that heat/cook the food. So already that should've been my hint. Like I mentioned would likely not eat here if it weren't for the food vouchers.

I didn't want to like this place as the Moxy hotel is quite contemporary and not my style but my breakfast here was delicious. I had the Moxy sampler which was made up of a tasty frittata, delicious sausage links , crispy bacon, hotel style home fries and a crust bread toast. I wanted to order another it was so good,

Very cool atmosphere to have a drink or two. Second time I stayed at Moxy. Decided to try the bar out for dinner. Friendly bartender and the food was pretty good.

Atmosphere has to be a 10 out of 5. I mean it's the Bar Moxy. This place rocks, pure and simple. May not be some crazy menu but it doesn't need to be. Great food, freaking awesome drinks, a rooftop bar, and delicious food for every meal. Hey-they also have cookies you can get. Who doesn't love fresh chocolate chip cookies!!!

Ok they are seriously asking full diner price for avocado toast, but selling Costco guacamole with Costco hard boiled eggs on tiny pieces of bread. No putting micro greens on it did not nice it up. This was gross and a waste of every bodies life force. I feel bad for the cooks.

Located on the 2nd floor of Moxy hotel, here you can unwind after a long sightseeing day with drinks and snacks. We stayed at the Moxy for 5 nights over Labor day weekend, and between the 4 of us, we had enough Marriott credits to try almost everything on the menu. The drinks are great, they had a unicorn signature drink that was pretty light. Our group agreed that the fajitas and flatbread were delicious. Our favorite is the dessert smores flatbread. Definitely order it!

Bar Moxy is the in-house bar and restaurant for the Moxy Hotel. Since I was a guest of the hotel and was given food and drink vouchers to use here, I visited here a few times during my stay. Bar Moxy is located on the second floor of the Moxy Hotel; the area is kind of an open, mixed-use space with the bar, common seating, and the lobby all contiguous with each other. Theming and aesthetics are the same as the hotel itself: contemporary/industrial with splashes of pinks, purples, and blacks. In addition to drinks, the bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner - with tables scattered where they will serve you after placing your order (you can also get it to go). Additionally, have games on some of the tables to play - I noticed a huge Connect 4 on one of the communal tables by the bar. They're a full bar, so they offer what one would expect plus signature cocktails. I used my free drink vouchers which gave me the choice of a beer, wine, or their signature cocktail. I went with the cocktail - I honestly forgot the liquor in it but it had berry and lime flavors. It was fine, not strong but hey you get what you pay for. I did get some of their food throughout my stay - I had a grilled chicken sandwich, buffalo chicken naan, and a breakfast naan. The food was good - tasty but nothing too noteworthy. Service was fine, food and drinks were served fast and everyone was friendly. Overall, I wouldn't call Bar Moxy destination spot, but it definitely serves its purpose if you're staying at the hotel.

I went to the roof part of bar moxy on a Friday night when it was open to the public. It's one of the highest rooftop views in Boston and the space has so much potential, but it was really dead for a Friday night. There were a few specialty fall cocktails but they weren't really amazing. I think if you can catch a rooftop night with a bigger crowd then it could be really fun.
