First visit to this restaurant with my husband. They were kind enough to take us upon early arrival, but I had to ask for a different table because I didn't want to sit just above where the front door opens. We were seated at the back and the music was too loud for my liking. Our server Sofia was delightful and made our dining experience most pleasant. The food was excellent, but dishes came out all at once and it would have been nice to space things out a bit as I prefer to savor each dish on its own. The other issue was the space is so dark you need a flashlight to read the menu. We weren't the only ones pulling out our phones to get a better look. We had the whipped ricotta, the Brussel sprouts, the octopus and the caesar salad along with a glass of orange wine. If I were to dine again, I would likely sit at the bar and ask to be as far away from the music speakers as possible. There seemed to be more light around the bar area. Being our fist time, we didn't know that. Overall, a special thanks to Sofia for making it a special night!
There loud rap music playing when we arrived -it was turned down after we asked, waiter spoke softly and quickly, it was hard to decipher what was said including odd comments about timing of when food would come out (made us think that our meals may well not arrive at the same time - which they actually did),we were seated in back with lighting so poor it was hard to see out food (let alone the menu), Carciofi app had more other items then artichoke - all fried -hard to actually taste artichoke, the whipped ricotta was not to our liking (too much pine/soapy taste), the chicken Milanese was extremely thin, totally dry and rock hard (overcooked with very little chicken - hard to tell that there was chicken in it - I have eaten this dish numerous times throughout the world and this was totally subpar) - Totally not worth the hype and money for dinner - As we left, we went out through the front where it appeared to be a fun place to go for a bar scene and just drinks - but not a good place for a good meal with conversation
For six of us, every bit of food served was exquisitely delicious. The service was excellent. The restaurant was packed and loud. The entrees were expensive. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. All together a lovely dining experience.
We had a good time! I brought my parents in from out of town & they really enjoyed the food. We are Spanish so the noise level was not an issue but it was also a Monday night. We got a weird table at first but when asked, we were switched to the one by the window. So cute!
Extremely expensive for the portion sizes. Both pasta dishes were undercooked and the appetizers were flavorless. However, the service and staff were wonderful, and the ambiance is very nice.
The food is outstanding! I will be brief but to say they approach gluten free, celiac friendly food like no other restaurant. The number of dishes on the menu that are accessible is impressive, but the quality of those dishes is what makes this place an absolute gem. I can't wait for my next meal!
As a coeliac I typically have a restricted menu to choose from. Not here! A wonderful range. At the bottom of the menu was the option to "Let us cook" - so I left the decisions to them. Let's just say they chose with a knowledge that I don't have. Sure, it wasn't cheap but so often I can scratch around for the gluten free options - so we are allowed to treat ourselves at other times. Faccia a Faccia is one of those times I chose to treat myself. And I loved it. I also chose the "Let us pour" option - which brought different wines and cocktails at different times. A lovely space. Friendly and helpful service. Just magnificent. I shall return when I am back in town. Cheap? No. Wonderful? Yes. Outstanding? Yes. Memorable? Yes. Disclaimer. Not sure how a normal person looks at menus and the world, but this coeliac loved it.
Walked over here at 10:30, wouldn't serve us despite closing time on website clearly stating 12 AM - second time I've tried to come here as well. Pretty impossible.

Fantastic meal, great service, excellent drinks. Lots of attention paid to gluten free and serving it safely. The restaurant has a casual, lived in feel and is comfortable, not dressy. It could benefit from some soft surroundings like curtains to absorb some noise in the back room. If you are sensitive to sound, ask to be seated outside of the back room.
Amazing as always. Have never had a bad dish here. Everything is always cooked to perfection. I'd be here every month if I could afford it.

I ordered gluten-free pasta and waited to eat. Five minutes later, the staff realized it wasn't GF and took it back, offering another appetizer. The replacement meal came quickly but had noticeably less sauce; it felt like a rushed fix. They didn't charge us for that plate, but I wouldn't go back.
Great Negroni variations

We split 3 small plates and one pasta dish between two people. It was definitely enough food and it was all amazing. The service was very good. A little dark and a little loud, but that's all part of the vibe.
Great food. A little too noisy and felt like servers were rushing us. We were only there 1.5 hours, and the tables are held for 2. Don't know why they were rushing to turn the table when there was plenty of time.
Top Notch! Delicious food and the service was amazing! First time and we will definitely be back. The gluten free options blew us away!
