We wanted to eat upstairs but didn't have reservations so we ate downstairs at this bar. It has fewer options than upstairs. The servers were nice but seemed distracted, there one moment and then you never see them again. I would have had another drink but never saw our server after he dropped off our food. Food was decent, we shared the farmers market salad and some fritters (which were good but rich and a bit greasy).
Worth the wait to find this place - it does great cocktails and has a nice vibe.Service was a little patchy when we went, including having to go find my own table after waiting a while to be seated with no one coming over, and having to get up to get the check rather than someone asking. That being said, the staff were great when they did come over and had helpful recommendations.Cocktails themselves were very good, pretty strong and quite different to the ones I’ve had elsewhere...
Our first stop in Boston while we waited to see if Hurricane Lee would hit. A little loud and a little hip/young for this old lady but we still enjoyed it immensely. Great inventive drinks and super service. We ordered the charcuterie as a late night supper and could have had sandwiches for a week - very generous!
