Very nice tapa place with a large selection of dishes. Many of the classics are here such as gambas al ajio, patatas bravas, albondigas and the like. Also some non traditional choices like empanadas. All of our tapas were delicious. The paella was also very good. Lots of wine by the glass options too. Recommended.

Our waiter Rafael was truly amazing. Kind, caring and interested in giving us the best dining experience. The bread and olive oil are amazing (this comes from a native Italian), the produce is all sourced from Spain. I loved the spicy meatballs and the charcuterie. The wine selection is impressive, and overall every single person in the staff was just incredibly nice. This is one of the few times in my life that I felt that everyone loved their job, the restaurant and taking care of guests. I would love to come back again! And if you are around, come in for a glass of wine, an aperitivo or a full meal. Just amazing!

Vibrant neighborhood tapas bar and restaurant, part of a northeastern regional chain. The Tremont Street branch has one of the best bars I've had the pleasure to enjoy. Horseshoe shaped, and a great place for people watching as well as for sampling excellent Spanish wine and small dishes. No penalty for a 3 oz. pour versus 6 oz. pour. Reasonably priced throughout. Very good, crusty bread from the Iggy bakery in Sommerville. I've been stopping by at this place for well over 7 years and it has been steadfast in its delivery of a wonderful atmosphere, full of energy and great food and wine.

Went there on Friday afternoon and sat at the gorgeous horseshoe shaped bar. Elizabeth's service was absolutely outstanding-from recommending a great flavorful bottle of wine to making us feel welcome! She was very attentive as well as allowed us time to enjoy the delicious tapas and charcuterie with complimentary warm fresh baked bread and oil without feeling rushed. So glad we visited and will definitely be back next time in Boston.

Have visited twice, food and drink options are superb.Very speedy service, mix of local and European staff all seemed to be very knowledgeable about the food and drink options, offering good advice on mixing and matching.Once you order the staff let you get on with the meal never intruding. The Tapas plates arrive at a nice pace allowing some conversation interspersed with the next hot and sense awakening savoury and sweet dishes, they just hit you and bring back memories of hot nights on Las Ramblas. We ordered a few tapas of different options, everything is very good. Atmosphere is quiet at 4 but by the time we left around 7 it was full.Definitely need to book a table of going weekends after 4.My best new restaurant in Boston for a long time.

Great selection of small snacks. Not a place for a full on dinner, but perfect spot for drinks with side dishes

My visit to Barcelona Wine Bar in South End was great, especially because of Ryan, the manager who helped us out when I booked the wrong day. The atmosphere was lively, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I'd definitely recommend this place.

This is a club experience different from other locations. I've been to several other locations in MA and other states and think the food is always spot on and the ambiance is usually pretty chill. Just here to call out this location's ambiance is different so people know what's up! We went on a Sunday night and the music was so loud and was playing early 2000s bangers like GET LOW like it was a club. I would have loved it if I had gone there to dance. But I went for a nice dinner and I was trying to actually hear others at dinner and this made it near impossible. The vibe was also clearly different from other locations - they had waiters standing on tables pouring liquor into peoples mouths. I could see it being fun for a young couple on a date, but taking my family there was a mistake :)

Another one of my favorites in Boston. I love taking friends and family here because it's perfect for sharing since it's tapa style. First off, the complimentary bread is always on point here. Always served hot with a side of olive oil. And when they serve good bread, you know it's going to be a good meal! Some of my faves: - Patatas Bravas (#1 MUST ORDER) - Jamon and Manchego Croquettes - Spiced Beef Empanadas - Albondigas - Spinach & Chickpea Cazuela We've ordered half paella mariscos and paella verduras before, and they were giant portions meant for 3-4 people at least, and was pretty average. So I usually stick with the tapas listed above.

SADDENED. 4/5 been going here for almost a decade. I love the staff, the experience, the food. However the loss of the mushroom croquettes from the menu is a large reason why I don’t go as often with my crew.
