The food was incredible: we devoured the Chicken Verde Tacos, the Street Corn, and the perfectly fresh Guacamole and Chips. Everything was seasoned perfect and served quickly.

The staff are amazing. Warm welcomes when we first walked in by the bar tenders, servers, and other staff. Special shout out to Connor who was super enthusiastic while taking our order. He's definitely an asset to the team and we would 100% recommend you come here. Vibes are awesome inside! Lovely interior. 5/5 stars

Bar taco is always on point from their food to their service. The host/hostess is always in a great mood, so friendly and very accommodating, especially if you have children they give an entire coloring book and crayons! Their service is top notch, like contessa level, they always come right over in a timely manner, very professional, friendly and prompt. Their food and drinks are consistently so good! The tacos are street tacos smaller than your usual taco, but they’re meant to order multiple! The drinks are so good and squeezed fresh!

I was so pleasantly surprised at my most recent visit to BarTaco in Hingham. They have a cool partially outdoor patio with heaters and the interior was fun and festive and well lit. Very inviting! We decided to sit at the bar and were greeted by the bartender Ryan, who was super friendly and knowledgeable. I was expecting a Mexican menu and was delighted to hear about all the different flavors and regions BarTaco incorporates, not just traditional Mexican dishes. Being a pescatarian, I was thrilled to see there were so many choices for me on the menu. We ended up ordering the fish taco, cauliflower taco, the falafel taco, and the shrimp taco. Everything was light and fresh not laden with cheese and hot sauce. Definitely upscale cuisine with a low price tag.. My favorite was the falafel, but everything was excellent! Everything came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. Our bartender Ryan helped us choose a drink - he explained they juice everything fresh and don’t use any premade mixes (points for that!) he also knew a lot about the Mezcal and the different flavors and everything sounded so yummy. I ended up with the spicy green margarita and was so pleasantly surprised! My friend loved her Classic mezcal margarita. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the music wasnt too loud so we could have a conversation. It was lots of fun and we can’t wait to come back again and try the rest of the food and drinks there! 5 stars!!

PLEASE BRING BACK AT QR ORDERING. I’m not returning until they do. It’s literally the reason i loved Bartaco. Went to eat here recently and this location said they are “moving away from QR code ordering”. Service was super slow. I waited longer for my food than i do at a restaurant that has never used QR Code ordering. One positive note: i spent at least $50 less than i normally do when i go here. Why? Because i have to wait for someone to notice me and take my order and get it to the kitchen. Someone let me know when they switch it back so i can go back.
