Can’t rave enough about Bartaco Hingham. Food is fantastic and prices are even better. Margaritas are delicious and the employees are some of the most personable people out there. Overall vibe is amazing and I am a frequent flyer there and I cannot vouch enough.

We ordered as takeout. The food was amazing and comes super fresh because of the great to-go packaging. We even had a small issue where the third party delivery driver missed a bag and the general manager of the restaurant ended up driving the bag to us himself and arrived only a few minutes behind the oriinal order! Amazing service, thank you, Greg! We ended up having great food and a great overall experience!

I came in on a wednesday night, and was recommended this place by a friend. Very disappointed with service. I sat at the bar , expecting a calm atmosphere to grab a drink but the bartenders seem to be all over the place. Finally ordered a drink after being told i needed a card to get any attention, took 10 min to get a drink and i literally watched them make it. Took more then enough time for a simple pour, and decided to take my losses and take a walk over to Legal Seafoods. The staff seemed more form focused on squeezing limes and in a panic then wanting my service.

Great vibes at bartaco! It was a treat being National Tequila Day and having live music!! Apparently they have live music every Thursday Night and Sunday afternoon! Will be back for delicious tacos, margs and atmosphere!

Tacos and chips and salsa were great, however service was lacking. We were promptly greeted by a bartender, ordered drinks, and gave a credit card for the tab. Margaritas were delivered promptly. After that, we waited for at least 30 minutes for someone to collect our food order. Not a single bartender acknowledged us and there was an obvious sense of disorganization and lack of leadership behind the bar.
We were then told to use the “dragon fly card” to inform staff we needed something, which we were not informed of in previous visits to Bar Taco. Regardless, it was 15 minutes before we were seen to request additional beverages, including water. At one point, 2 bar tenders were standing and talking to each other and laughing. I know it’s ok to have fun at work, but not ok when you have customers waiting for service.
Our previous experience at Bar Taco was great (food and service), so it was disheartening to have had such a lackluster experience this time around.
Really cool spot with a fresh and modern vibe. Loved the unique concept — you order everything from your phone at the table, which makes the experience feel super relaxed and efficient. The tacos were flavorful and creative (highly recommend the duck and cauliflower), and the cocktails were on point. Staff was friendly and helpful even though it's all done digitally. Great for a casual night out or a fun lunch with friends. Definitely coming back!

The inside was inviting and really nice and pleasantly not too loud for being inside. We had a lovely time but the food was just ok, I had high expectations and was a little disappointed. A simple pico de gallo was not on the menu and some items were very spicy. Wish they’d had a nice salsa with chips and don’t care for the guac. But we did enjoy the delicious cucumbers, ceviche, gazpacho and desserts were good. But was sadly disappointed with the tacos. I would come again to try other things.

My friend and I decided to visit Bar Taco for the first time last night to celebrate my new job. We were greeted by the bar staff and they asked us to have a seat anywhere. Our server Megan and another associate who was training were very attentive and very friendly with ordering and keeping us informed about the menu and restaurant selection. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant the decor was very tasteful and stylish. Our food was delicious and we both had a chicken taco and I enjoyed the crispy shrimp taco. Our drinks were also very refreshing and not overpowering. I enjoyed everything!! Before we closed out our tab Megan let us know that she placed an order of churros to enjoy our celebration and I absolutely loved that she went out of her way to make us feel special. To make our nights even more memorable as the churros came out she placed a swag bag courtesy of the manager of the restaurant and I was so appreciative of the staff and management for taking so much care of us! I will definitely be back to celebrate more of my milestones with friends and family

I don’t leave reviews, but as a west coaster forever in search of decent tacos in New England…The food is phenomenal. The drinks are exceptional. And Jimmy (bartender) and Greg (manager) are exactly what you want for a chill afternoon with good food and great drinks. 10/10 no notes.
