Why this place isn't closer to 5 stars is beyond me. Super authentic; the chicken is crisp and moist, the Ttoekbokki is perfect with fishcake and authentic spice (get ready to sweat a little), and the dumplings taste homemade. Add the dumplings to the Ttoekbokki and you'll forget it was even a chicken restaurant. Just go try it!

I recently ordered carry out at the counter, and was told I already paid for my order when I was certain I hadn't yet. The cashier insisted I already paid for it and it'd be ready when I came back.I came back 20 minutes later and they told me I still need to pay for my order. That's fine, I basically expected it, but when I asked if that meant it'd be another 15-20 minutes for my order, they said no it was already put it and it'd be ready soon. I then waited another 30 minutes for my order.I live right above this business and the food is great, but that interaction and the way both cashiers at the front were turned around and avoiding eye contact the entire time rubbed me the wrong way. If they told me it'd be another 30 minutes then I could easily go back to my apartment and come back in another half hour. Why waste my time?

We stumble upon this place on our way to somewhere else. It was a nice surprise.The chicken was crispy and tasty and we had plenty with the smaller portions. Service was friendly and quick. Waffle fries were as expected.The price was OK given what we ordered. We'll go there again.

food is made to order , very good and fresh. communication was a little challenging with language barrier. they don't have a lot if "meal combination" type products. It's more Ala cart in small bulk .. for a table share type , or family take out. seating is limited.

Ordered delivery via Doordash and waited 80 minutes only for the order to be cancelled because the driver was waiting over 30 mins for the food. I have liked the food from other locations of this chain, but terrible experience ordering from here and would not attempt again.

BBQ CHICKEN KENMORE NEVER DISAPPOINTS. We always get bone in chicken wings and they always come out near perfect (for context I’ve been to this location at least once a month this year :’)). I have never gotten a dry wing from this place. The food is always made to order, chicken is always perfectly juicy and tender, and the flavors are chef's kiss. Their non chicken dishes are also super delicious -- you can't go wrong with your order! They also have gloves, plates, and napkins ready, which makes sharing super clean and convenient.I highly recommend coming to this location if you're looking for Korean fried chicken. The Kenmore location is definitely better than the Allston and Chinatown locations.
In the past I’ve ordered from Allston location and the wings have been on point EVERY TIME. Yesterday I ordered the soy garlic chicken and the Gangnam style expecting crispy sauced up perfection and what I got was undersauced (little sauce on the wings and no dripping pool of sauce at the bottom I can re-dip my wings into with every bite) and slightly pink undercooked chicken. It must’ve been an off day but then again I’ve never ordered delivery from this location. Well I won’t be again. Head to the Allston location for a more consistent experience :/
