BEST KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN IN BOSTON! I was a Bonchon person for years, and switched over to BBQ Chicken once I tried them. Unlike other places, they use dark meat instead of white meat, so it comes out juicyyyy and tender every time. Their honey garlic and soy garlic has a slight kick to it, but it’s delicious. Cool down with some pickled daikon radish and cole slaw for the ultimate combo. Oh, and don’t sleep on their bulgogi fries – it’s a sort of poutine, with tater tots, cheese, beef bulgogi, onions, and kimchi topped with a fried egg. INCREDIBLE!

Came here for lunch with coworkers and it was an amazing experience. Service was fast and friendly, food was full of flavor and crispy. The best boneless chicken wings I’ve had. Perfectly saucy and lightly breaded. We got 6 flavors and they were all phenomenal

Gave us the wrong chicken twice, honey garlic was burnt, and dark brown. Why was it dark brown ? Tasted like soy garlic but wasnt even flavorful . I voiced my concern and was shut down with , No thats honey garlic and walked away. service was not great at all. Only items that was decent was the kimchi fried rice, cheesling fries. Fountain drinks tasted like it was not cleaned properly. I rather go to BBQ in quincy, their chicken is the best! Very unhappy for my first time at this Allston location.

ordered wings but got 10 little drumsticks, no wings at all! Called the restaurant. They asked me to show them a picture next time so that they can reimburse me. Went to the restaurant today and mentioned this. The waitress is extremely unfriendly and just asked me to sit aside until they have time. Waited for around an hour and they just keep ignoring me.

I walk there in order to get fresh wings. I figured this because I’ve ordered here before on doordash but they weren’t hot when they got here. I don’t live far. So I ask can they please be fresh, they have me wait a few minutes and hand me back the same wings. I didn’t mind waiting. I don’t see why I couldn’t get them fresh if i’m paying about $20 for 10 wings…. Horrible customer service. They didn’t even bother saying hello or anything just super rude! It wasn’t busy, maybe one table in the place…. The waitress just looking at me crazy when I went to the wrong side of the restaurant instead of asking me if I needed something… I’d never been there in person. Super bad experience, won’t be ordering again.

I've eaten at b.bq chicken twice, from two different locations. The food looked good and taste good however I noticed a few hours after eating everyone in my family who ate the chicken had diarrhea. This happened both times. I'm pretty confident the chicken is not being washed well, the kitchen is dirty, and there's cross contamination. I'm not willing to try it again and I don't recommend eating here or at any of the other locations.

My total time in here was about an hour and 25 minutes. To be seated was fast which gave me hope but then hope was lost when it took a waiter to ask us if someone took our order yet after 20 minutes of waiting to see who would be our waiter for the evening. Our side came out. Then it took 15 minutes for a flat soda to arrive to our table even AFTER the rice and then another 30 for my second order to come out. Both orders of chicken was hard to chew and cold.

If I could give 0 star I would. Last time we were here, the waitress was throwing the food plate on the table. Today, as soon as we walked in the guy comes in aggressively “Next time you wait on the door” then asking “are you going to eat here or no?” What the hell are waiters’ problem here ? So after this “amazing” service we decided to leave as soon as walked in, and then again throws the forks on the pile as if we are doing something wrong. Don’t go if you care about service.

The first red flag was the woman who continued bagging while I stood there waiting to be greeted for my pickup. The original Fried Chicken looked and tasted like old chicken... the boneless wings with the secret sauce looked and tasted like sauce covered old chicken!?
