Ordered the mini cream puffs, but they are quite mid to me—and the texture of the shell is different from the ones I’ve had in Asia (or maybe the ones I got just went stale/dried out). I think frozen cream puffs from grocery stores tasted fresher than this. Can’t really taste the green tea in the green tea coating either (a green tea flavored KitKat would have a stronger green tea flavor)
Absolutely delicious! These were the best cream puffs I have ever had. I even went to beard papas in asia but I preferred this location. The cream is incredible. And chocolate is thick and delicious.
I would rate 4.5 stars. We got the raspberry cream puff. I've had beard papas a lot in Japan. This one is close! The Japanese one tasted better in my memory but that could just be you know, being in Japan. Makes everything taste better to me. This cream puff was pretty fresh, not warm but was obviously made that day. The cream is silky and smooth and rich and has vanilla beans in it.
