When you are on a pub crawl through Boston with 15 people on a Sunday afternoon and this place graciously allows your group take over the bar area...huge Thank You!
We did not eat so I can only review the $10 martinis...yes, $10 martinis and they were outstanding (several options)! But even more outstanding was the bartender, Ernesto, who dealt with our entire group while smiling the whole time. Pats lost but this place is a winner...I can't wait to go back to try the food.

The waitress with an Irish accent was very short tempered. Some bald man with glasses was so hyper vigilant it was stressful. Also as he manhandled the part of my wine glass that I drink from his fat stomach pressed against my cheek. He also commented that my date and I had “too much food for two ladies”. Then I took one step past the ladies room and he yelled at me. Ew
We stopped in for their Happy hour, as they advertised $10.00 Expresso Martini’s. It was not only a badly made drink it was served in a glass so small it was laughable. We felt obliged to order food even though we just wanted a happy hour drink! The antipasto was not bad but atmosphere and small, not shaken espresso martini’s is a no return for my family!

I am from upstate NY and a good friend of mine recommended that I stop by Bella Vistas for dinner if ever on the North End of Boston. He knows that I love Italian food and suggested that this was the place! So, for my 50th birthday my wife asked me how I wanted to celebrate it? I suggested we stay in Boston and try the North End and visit Bella Vistas. I have got to say that not only did I have the best 50th birthday that I could ever ask for, Bella vista knocked it out of the park!!! The owners daughter (wonderful lady) was our waitress and she was the BEST!!! She took our order and graciously brought my beautiful wife and I an antipasto salad for us to enjoy and it was complimentary:). It was delicious!!! We then ordered our dinner. My wife ordered the Ravioli dish and I ordered the chicken parmigiana. My wife had no problem completing her dish it was that good. I had a hard time on the other hand as there was so much food. It definitely wasn’t from lack of trying I was just stuffed! The chicken parmigiana was delicious and the pasta was amazing! It was really tender with a nice crisp coating topped with an amazing marinara sauce with melted mozzarella. We had the window seat so the environment could not have been any better! When we finished our meal our wonderful waitress surprised me with a tiramisu for my birthday dessert. What an amazing treat served by an amazing lady!!!! When we were getting ready to leave, I was invited to the back and I was introduced to our waitresses mother (owner) who greeted me with a smile and hug. She wished me a happy birthday! What a beautiful lady! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and we will be back again and again and……!!!

Incredible place for authentic Italian dinner, food was to die for, prices extremely fair, beautiful atmosphere open to the strip on Hanover. Lucia our server was an absolute delight to talk to. Cannot recommend this place highly enough

We had a reservation but were still met with difficulty at the door. Staff lacked professionalism and coordination. We also heard the waiters and bartender talking badly about us well within earshot of our table. This, along with passive aggressive language, made us feel uncomfortable throughout our whole evening.
Food was okay, but maybe it just left a bad taste in our mouths because of how we were treated.

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night. The portion sizes were quite small for the price, especially compared to other places nearby. The food quality was decent, but nothing exceptional

It was my first experience at this place. When I walked in, there was an elderly lady who showed me where to sit. About five minutes later, she came to take my order with a terrible attitude. She didn’t respond to what I said and just stared at me very rudely , with a look that was genuinely unsettling, like someone mentally unwell or exhibiting psychopathic behavior. At first, I thought she might have hearing difficulties, but when I later kindly asked if she remembered my order, she suddenly started yelling in a disturbing way.
It was honestly a very uncomfortable experience. I believe she may be struggling with serious issues and could benefit from professional help. For her own well-being,and for the safety and comfort of the customers,it might be best if she isn’t in a public facing role until she receives proper support.

We had a terrible experience here. The old lady working there as a waitress who apparently was the owner too, was openly racist and extremely rude. From the moment we walked in, her attitude toward us was hostile and disrespectful.
We felt so uncomfortable and disrespected that we left before our food even arrived
Great food and great service

We were there for lunch today… the service was the worst we had in Boston. The server was rude, never took our drink order, didn’t bring more bread, or ask how our food was and if we needed anything,
We were there for lunch today… the service was the worst we had in Boston. The server was rude, never took our drink order, didn’t bring more bread, or ask how our food was and if we needed anything, and gave us our check without asking if we wanted dessert or coffee. The food was good but I would never go back because of the service.

Came here solo during a thursday stroll in the north end. Chicken parm was excellent. Cooked well, dozed in marinara sauce that went really well with it. Came with pasta where they have an option on the type of pasta. They also gave me a basket of bread. Good atmosphere, especially at night with the wight counter vibe. I recommend it, great place for couples, solos, or small families.
