We were there for lunch today… the service was the worst we had in Boston. The server was rude, never took our drink order, didn’t bring more bread, or ask how our food was and if we needed anything,
Best Chicken Parmigiana I've ever had. I'm still thinking about that chicken!
It was the most tender chicken, and it melted in your mouth!
I can’t speak on the food because we ordered drink specials! The lemoniti and (I forgot the other name) margaritas were delish! 😋
We came here for dinner. Only place during our 7 day trip that anyone took home their left overs. Food was delicious. Service was great!
Had lunch here and the service was fantastic, food was excellent and the vino was just as good. Highly recommend for a lovely comfortable casual experience 5 🌟
Rude servers. Bad food
Delicious food and amazing service! Best Italian restaurant in town! Highly recommended! We ordered escargots and stuffed mushrooms as appetizers and later ordered a veal with ham and mushroom which was top of the class!!
Amazing food, staff and experience!
Such a beautiful night on Hanover St at BV!!
We started with an antipasti fish platter…mussels, stuffed clams, escargot, shrimp and calamari, on a bed of white beans and marinara. Excellent!! Chicken piccata, ravioli and chicken parm was ordered and devoured! The ambiance is beautiful with the recent renovations, don’t miss the martini wallpaper in the bathroom!!
Quaint spot in the north end has exceptional food and service. The arancini is phenomenal! Highly recommend.
Fast, fresh and absolutely delicious!! Every single dish was amazing! Pistachio Martini could use some work but still good. We will definitely go back!!

When the weather is nice, the large front window is open to the street which is excellent for people watching and enjoying your drinks or meal in the sun.
We caught their happy hour (3-5 during the week) so we got to enjoy their $10 martinis! They had SO many fun flavors!
Then we split an antipasto plate—delicious, high quality cured meats and cheeses.
I had the veal piccata with angel hair pasta and it was divine. The meat was tender and the consistency of the pasta was perfect. I love love love capers and lemon, so I was ecstatic that Bella Vista had this on the menu and that it was so delicious!!! My friends had the lasagne and I think that’s what I’m ordering next time—it looked AMAZING!
And we ended our meal with some tiramisu and a cannoli. Such a sweet treat!
So glad my friend recommended me to Bella Vista, I look forward to returning!
So disappointing. I did not know that the food came with two sides I also didn't know that the pasta was separate from the actual dish. The menu only says pasta and the main dish. I would not have ordered a salad and I would have let them know I was allergic. They need to rethink their menu. The service was actually terrible. The bread was also very hard not worth the money at all.
I loved everything about this restaurant! The food was amazing and plentiful, and the atmosphere was charming and inviting, as were all the staff. There were six of us, and we all ordered different food and tried each other. Everything was great!

The restaurant and menu and prices are nothing like what is listed on line. I think the old Bella vista got taken over by Saraceno. The ambiance was awful and the prices were very high compared to what was on their website. We walked out.
