In reference to Ben and Gerry’s, located at the Prudential Center,, Boston, MA, a young employee named Maggie went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I took my children and grandson for ice cream on Thursday, July 17, in the afternoon.
Aside from Maggie’s professionalism and beautiful courtesy in serving us (often a rare combination in the service industry) I watched her deal with an incredibly rude customer with such graciousness and self control. The customer was completely out of line and I was so impressed with how Maggie de-escalated the situation and kept her professional composure, especially for such a young woman. Maggie is a credit to the company and I would highly recommend this establishment based on the character of this young woman. I hope she is recognized for her invaluable contribution to Ben and Gerry’s, Prudential Center, Boston.
I get more and more accustomed to bad service and getting shorted these days when I attempt to purchase an experience outside my home. Today the female staff was extremely distracted (blue hair). I think her break was to happen soon. I requested a hand packed pint. It was about hardly 3/4 filled and cost $9.00. I get it, young people these days are less resilient and struggle at basic tasks, especially if they are getting paid. I’m sure if she was packing that pint for herself it would have been filled. Do better with your life. BJ’s do better, your charging people double for less then the grocery store would.
Good ice cream
Mohamed was great!--very swift in servicing my small strawberry cheesecake ;)
Nice place to stop on the way back to the Sheraton after dinner. Service was decent. Their selection is good. Prices are fair.

Whoever the dude was working August 13 2024 around 1ish? I got small bowl of phish food w rainbow sprinkles and it’s the best scoop of phish food I’ve ever had and sprinkles ratio was on point. Thankyou. I am the street team with new dia. I love this location. Everyone’s always really nice and give good scoops for the price I can’t take a picture I ate it all

A decent place for an ice cream break while shopping. Although with the Pru trending in the upscale direction, I'm not sure how long this location can hold on. Minor nitpick: they don't seem to have as many flavors as they used to. My favorite one is New York Super Fudge Chunk. They had it at their previous Pru location (a wonderful food court now occupied by Eataly).
I was given dairy ice cream when I asked for the vegan version. Ended up being sick all day.
This location has poor service, freezer burn, & won’t honor their loyalty reward program.

Yummy ice cream ?
Great ice cream, with many choices to choose from. Even have 4 that are casein free.
The guy working 7:38 New Year’s Day was super helpful and nice
