The Italian food here was genuinely disappointing. The pesto pasta was dry and completely lacking flavor, and the Bianco pizza tasted worse than Domino’s cheese bread. It was honestly upsetting. If an Italian restaurant can’t deliver flavor, something is seriously wrong. Management should take a hard look at the kitchen and fix the recipes. Italian food should taste rich and home-cooked, not rushed and microwaved. Other than that, the service was friendly, and the hostess was nice as well.

Had the GF gnocchi with Boscaiola sauce and it was truly UNREAL! I wish I had eaten here earlier so I could go back for round two. Would highly recommend!

Title: Burned by Hot Food — and Still Charged for It
I took my family for lunch today, and had what started as a pleasant experience—until our server accidentally spilled steaming hot shrimp directly onto my wrist while delivering my entrée.
The food was hot enough to cause a visible burn, and it hurt. The server apologized and brought me ice, but there was no formal acknowledgment beyond that. What made it worse? When the bill came, the dish that was spilled on me was still there—for $30. I paid in cash and didn’t leave a tip (because, again: I was injured), and I calmly told the server why. She said nothing. I then mentioned it to another staff member, who simply held the door open and said “sorry” as we left.
At no point did anyone offer to comp the dish, offer real help, or seem especially concerned that a customer got physically burned in their restaurant. This wasn’t just a clumsy moment—it was a failure in customer service and basic accountability.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this crossed a line. Accidents happen, but how a restaurant handles them matters. I hope this feedback helps them take safety and customer care more seriously in the future.

We sat down to have our lunch , and everything was friendly and there was a nice vibe in there. We had a couple appetizers, which were good. Then, she brought out my dish , and spilled steaming hot shrimp/pasta on my wrist by accident. She kept saying sorry. I know it was an accident , but it was fire hot, and my wrist was burned from the shrimp. She brought out ice. I know she was trying , and was an accident. But my wrist was actually really burned from this. And I went home, and I still have ice on it. Then she brings the bill, and I pay it. The meal was still on the bill for $30. Then I paid her cash. And she asked if I needed change. I said no. I said the meal is still on the bill after you burned me? She walked away to the other wait staff. I told the guy at the front door that worked there also, and he held the door open, and said sorry. We will never go back there. Their food is decent , the vibe is nice, but I don’t like how they just brushed this off , and glossed over it. The customer service is definitely lacking there.
Went for the first time tonight & had an amazing dinner! Sat at the bar. The staff was amazing. Jen the bartender was hilarious and the martinis were perfect. The owner (or manager?) asked the hostess to sit us in the furthest seats from the door since it was FREEZING outside so we wouldn’t catch a draft, which was very considerate of him. We were right next to the kitchen & chef, who gave us personalized recommendations on what to order. Ended up with a veal chop marsala special. It was 10/10. Will absolutely come back again.

We LOVE this place. Great Pizza, excellent Chicken Piccata and spot on Bolognese. Cute place with lots of windows. Nice wine program. Service was excellent. Superstar Ani even remembered us from last year. Have been here at least 5 times on our annual visit to Boston. Can't wait for 2026!

Fantastic staff was excellent food was fantastic!
This is probably the worst pasta I've ever eaten. I haven't been this disappointed in a long time. It was tasteless. My wife had it worse: the wine hadn't been evaporated from the sauce, and it was simply impossible to eat... But the cherry on top was that the extractor fan wasn't working, and you had to take the clothes you wore there to the dry cleaner's.

We stopped in here during our trolley tour, definitely a game time decision on somewhere for lunch but wow we weren’t disappointed. I order the carbonara pasta and my husband got the saint agrippina pizza. He said it was the best pizza he has ever had, my pasta was phenomenal. We got a bottle of wine, great service, no wait. It was such a nice lunch! Would definitely go back again

Excellent restaurant, Excellent food and Excellent service....it definitely is my top 5 restaurants in the north end ,matter of fact my number one ...Fabio and his staff are the best...
Absolute best food and service ever! Evens was fabulous from the nice man at the door (who got us in at the bar despite no reservation) to the fabulous lady behind the bar and everyone in between. I had the most magnificent eggplant ever! Husband had the gluten free gnocchi with sausage and bolognese sauce which was also excellent. Their standards were high and it showed. Loved eating there. Thank you for a great meal and service tonight.
