We enjoyed a nice late lunch here on our way to a night game at Fenway. Itâs super cute and quaint. Our server Joe was so awesome. Friendly and fun! Highly recommend.

Good hearty Italian food. Large portions. Our waiter was very helpful with recommendations. All us had pasta which was quite good. Unfortunately didnât try the pizza. The place was packed for Labor day so we were seated in the basement which was stuffy. But we were not unhappy about this all restaurants were packed.

Food and atmosphere-wise, was very good. Only knock was they didn't provide bread (the table was set with bread plates). Every other table was getting bread. We figured it was coming and then our meal came. I asked the server why we didn't get bread and he indicated we needed to ask. Really?? May sund petty but bread is an important element to an Italian restaurant experience and is automatic at every one I have ever been to. I think we were the victim of a bad server but felt I should let others know to ask.

The ambiance was cool, and we sat by the window, which was very nice and felt great. The drinks werenât shaken, so they werenât cold enoughâwhich was odd to me.
For the appetizer, we ordered the Caesar salad. It was refreshing, but not anything special.
For the mains, I had the eggplant pizza, which was very good. The lasagna, however, was a little flavorless and was served with meatballs that were just okay. The fusilli amatriciana was delicious, but it was far too oily.Overall, we enjoyed both the food and the ambiance, but everything could have been better.

Food was terrible and horribly bland. Pasta was overcooked.
Service was terrible as well. Waiter was lazy and had to be flagged down. Atmosphere was hot and muggy. The seating in the basement was tight, cramped and basically a dungeon.
Donât bother coming here, it was a horrible experience!

Bencotto is in the heart of the North End, surrounded by a busy walking street. The location is great being on Hanover St., and service was overall good, though we got a bit of attitude when we offered to wait for a main-level table to open up instead of being sat downstairs, which was weird because we were given the option..
In terms of the food, it was decent, but I didnât care for the Bologneseâthe sauce felt watery compared to other spots nearby, because unfortunately its located on a competitive street. Though, they do offer fresh pasta which you canât beat, and everyone else enjoyed their dish. Also, for the drinks, they were pretty good but the Mojitoâs was bleh..

My husband and I walked into an Italian celebration happening in Boston and decided we wanted brick oven pizza for dinner. We found this place and their pizza didnât disappoint. We had the north ender and it was different and delicious. The bartender was nice and attentive. She even gave us a sample of Limoncello which was delicious.

Me and a buddy were in town from New York looking for some nice Italian on the north end. Immediately was drawn in from the smell of delicious Italian, courtesy of having their windows open. Our server Jennifer sold us out of towners some of the finest carbonara and tasty pesto weâve ever had! Definitely made our weekend trip one to remember.

The food is exceptional
Waited 10 mins for a table (sat in the basement, but the service and the food made it not a problem)
My girlfriend is Gluten Intolerant, she had a pizza (She says the Gluten Free pizza was 1 - 10 was an easy 10)
I had a pasta dish that I added sausage to and it was amazing
They have a small bar setup, but the drinks are on point
So yummy! You will love it here, please go here, people are very nice and the food is delicious 10/10!! Soooo yummy! đđđ
