Awful customer experience. Don’t order from this place.Edit: replying to the below - staff was unhelpful on the phone and only offered me to pick it up myself at the late hour. When asked if you could prepare the dish the next day as it was too late to pick up myself, you said straight up no - that's being kind? please...No refund was issued for this order.

The service here is fantastic. Always attentive and quick to bring the food, drinks and check in on us. I would come back here every time I’m in Boston, the fresh pasta was outstanding. I got the carbonara and my friend got gnocchi both dishes were

The food is amazing, truly one of my favorite places to eat in the north end. however, the waitress would not leave us alone, kept asking if we wanted boxes while we were still actively eating, kept rushing us. i wish i didnt tip 20%, the service was horrific, food is good- you just have to eat it in under 20 minutes or else they get rude. i wanted to order another round of drinks but thought i would have been crucified if i did. like Jesus’s Easter but its Bencotto. the waitress didnt even ask us if we wanted cheese and took our bread before we were done. sadly the food is good so i will be back.she didn’t even tell us her name, but for the short girl with short brown hair, hoops and a bun, this is for you <3 deeply manifesting this gets put in the company slack.

? Had bruschetta with lobster and shrimp fried in garlic. In that constellation it's impossible to taste the lobster. Nothing wrong with the taste of garlic fried shrimp. The lobster just serves no purpose. ? I had the North Ender pizza. It is so salty, like SO salty. The Prosciutto di Parma they use is apparently somewhat saltier than other prosciuttos - but I have never run into anything like that in Europe.? Otherwise the Pizzas were pretty good, but they should be at $100+ for three pizzas and a beer.

Extremely rude. They do not respect service animals here. Do not come here.FYI Bencotto, service animals are different than emotional support animals. Please do not support restaurants who discriminate and violate the rights of people with disabilities. This is illegal and I have reported them to the ADA.

My friends and I were excited to try this restaurant while we are on a girls trip in Boston. When we sat down it took quite some time for the waitress to take our drink orders, let alone our food order. We ordered alcoholic drinks - 3 of us are 22 and I just turned 23. We showed our ID’s and even our credit cards to verify that our identification is real. It was taking a very long time for our drinks to come out (20-30 minutes after we ordered them) and eventually the owner came down and asked us if we were actually as old as we said we were. We verified that we were, in fact, of age and he said “don’t jeopardize my business.” We did still get our drinks after a long wait and our food. My friend didn’t even get what she ordered. The food was good but overall this place was not worth the trouble and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Food was great. Everything else not so much. Waited outside in the cold 15 minutes past our reservation. Then got rushed to finish so the other 10+ people outside could get a table. My drink came out 40 minutes after we ordered it and eat after the food.
